Finding Engineers
I am on a mission to find and deliver 2 Station Engineers to a Station.
I have followed the mission guidance to a station but can not find any engineers using the "where can a find" request. Plenty of crewmen, pilots, marines, traders, managers but no engineers. Also tried other stations but no success.
Can anybody help with guidance?

Re: Finding Engineers
Engineers are crewman as far as I know
Re: Finding Engineers
I wondered if that might be the case but I hired two crewmen and the mission guidance is still telling me that I need to find 2 Station Engineers.
Re: Finding Engineers
The "find" part is essentially: Do you have among all your staff individuals that have the requested skills?
(If you don't then hire some, from anywhere.)
The "deliver" is easy in current game: just tell the chosen crew to "Work elsewhere" and select the destination station.

I have hired a crewman and I am at the delivery station.
How do I instruct the crewman to work elsewhere?

Re: Finding Engineers
You need to go to comms with them then there is the option to "Transfer Crewmember" . They need to be on the ship that you have docked on the station as well.
Go to your ship's crew menu, right click on the service crew > comms > transfer.
If you scroll the mission description down a bit they are usually required to have 1 Morale as well as Engineering skills. So if the Transfer Crewmember is greyed out they usually don't have enough Morale.

Re: Finding Engineers
It's not "Transfer". The option is 'Work somewhere else.' Then you choose the station (now flashing yellow) as the destination.SirConnery wrote: ↑Sat, 22. The faction of grammar nazis have been buffed too much since last patch.
Re: Finding Engineers
Nothing to do with 'grammar'. Just don't want to get new players confused by looking for something that's not there.
