Mission: Hack, but its a 'Defense Platform'-Station

I got a Teladi Trade Guild mission where i need to hack the storage module of a 'Defense Platform'...
there is no quest indicator.

There is only the Dock area to go to where you land and a Trader Corner which seems bugged since i cant enter, the door doesnt open when ich choose to get there and i need to teleport back to my ship, else im trapped between two closed doors. I need to walk there through the dock instead.

In the docking bay there are 6 double terminals, 3 on each side between the ship terminals, but all 6 are production terminals to hack. Is that normal? Still searching for the storage terminal.
My feeling tells me its a bug again. A bug thats around since 2018 it seems... https://steamcommunity.com/app/392160/d ... 085723088/

As cool as the game may be im getting a little bit frustrated. Didnt had a single session without a bug. Some i can ignore, some i need to reload.
Picked the game up soon after it got released. Had to stop due to many bugs and non functional drone miners at that time.
Now i though some time passed and even payed DLC´s got releaed. Has to be good by now. Picked up both DLC´s and started fresh.

Stopped counting how many issues i encountered.
  • elevator doors not opening = getting stuck
  • randomly getting stuck on stations by running into obstacles
  • can only pick up 1 guild mission for one faction at the same time, else the old one gets overwritten
  • Terraforming mission getting stuck in an endless audio loop at the last switch riddle
  • missions where you need to fly back a lost ship to a station can get you stuck if you transfer the ship and it undocks the second you leave the ship, makes the docking barrier go up
  • escorted ships turning into enemys from getting "too much" friendly turret fire because enemys fly near them, but they didnt even lose 1% overall shield energy
  • ...
Without having a teleport these type of things will break your game most of the time in the beginning. Its so annoying.

Whats positive is the economy balacing and how many missions are there now. Huge plus.

It sounds like this bug again which has a fix coming.

was there an undercover patch?

One day later laoding the same savegame the door that always got stuck worked suddenly and for the bugged hack mission i could do a workaround that didnt work before.
Just flew like 30km away from the station and returned. Quest marker appeared, the Trader Corner from before isnt available anymore but now there is an Engi Station where the mission is located.

But as always with the palying session i got another bug: if you fly too far away from criminal station traffic without losing the selected criminal ship and fly near it to destroy it... its invincible. Weapons just shoot through it. Wasnt the first time this happened.

No the main issue hasn't had the fix released yet, but you may have discovered an occasional workaround. That second bug with *some* mass traffic that cannot be hit is well-reported and a fix is coming for that one too.
