Expansions and Collector's Edition

is the new expansion X4: Tides of Avarice, free with the other expansions for Collector Edition buyers or only last 2 and have to pay this time, which of course will be happy to. just curious. thx.

The third expansion (Tides of Avarice) is not included with the Collector's Edition, and must be bought separately. Split Vendetta and Cradle of Humanity DLC are included with the Collector's Edition.

AFAIK the collector's edition comes with only the first two, or at least that's what it told me when I bought it.

It is quite likely that some time after Tides of Avarice is released there will be an updated collectors edition which includes all 3 DLCs for an appropriate price and effective discount for new players to instantly jump into the full X4 experience. If you already own the current collectors edition it only includes the first 2 DLCs (and factored in an appropriate discount for them back then) and you will need to buy the third, and any subsequent, DLCs separately.
