Max skill rank through different beheavier?

I have this Raptor with 40 fighters guarding a gate from a Xenon sector for more than 6 days and looks like this is the cap for fighter pilots.
What is the skill cap for other jobs? Like miner/trader pilots.

I've yet to see piloting level over 3 stars by experience, in any role. Maybe I just don't play the same save for as many years as Egosoft wants me to.

I do have one scout in my current game who has a slightly higher than 3 average but only because her morale is full.
