When the Explore command completes immediately...
Does it mean the ship knows there's nothing new (like stations) in the radius, without having to check? Or does that command only worry about removing map-shroud and never work in that spot again?

From personal experience, it seems to work around the map-shroud. Asking ships to explore the same spot again a few hours later never worked for me.

Ah, that's unfortunate. I probably don't need it for regular stations since I can just use move orders, but it would have been nice for respawning Kha'ak structures that appear in weirder places.
