saitek x52 - continues input - locked on main menu

Post by franklin1k » Fri, 22. Oct 21, 21:57

Starting the game brings to main menu. The selection is locked on the first item at the top of the menu. When the x52 hotas is unplugged the menu works. I think my hotas is giving the game a continuous signal. How do I solve this problem?

Can you not bind buttons on your X52 to keys? I have an X56 and I pretty much bound almost all of the buttons/switches on it onto individual keys. So if I press <certain button>, it basically inputs a <certain key> from the keyboard.

Otherwise no, haven't had this problem myself. Did you check the joystick's Windows input tester to see if one button isn't stuck or sends false signal?

Can you increase the dead zone in settings? Having said that, I had a similar issue, and it was only solved by replacing it. :(
“Man, my poor head is battered,” Ed said.

“That explains its unusual shape,” Styanar said, grinning openly now. “Although it does little to illuminate just why your jowls are so flaccid or why you have quite so many chins.”

“I…” Had she just called him fat? “I am just a different species, that’s all.”

“Well nature sure does have a sense of humour then,” Styanar said. “Shall we go inside? It’d not be a good idea for me to be spotted by others.”

I have an X-52 Pro -
This does a similar thing from time to time...
What is happening is that the mouse button on the Left stick (Throttle)
is slightly uncalibrated - just put your thumb on this and wiggle it about
Then disconnect and reconnect the X-52 - it should recalibrate itself.
