(Starting with something simple, here is a redesign of my standard TER solar power plant, courtesy of the rotational unlocks.)

These large scale solar power collectors are deployed orbiting the inner planets of the Sol system, funnelling a steady stream of energy cells to installations in the sun-starved outer reaches where power production would otherwise prove inefficient. Arrays of solar panels tilted to correct for orbital inclination surround three independent cores along the rotational axis. Here, surplus energy is stored in energy cells and finally transported along to the storage, self-sustaining habitation, and large docking areas at the base of the station. Each of the three discs, the centre of which is optionally equipped with orbital defence capabilities, can be freely rotated to dynamically adjust power output and provide more granular adjustment to primary systems of attitude control.

Terran Orbital Supply Nodes are designed to be deployed in defensible positions in the resource rich outer regions of the Sol system and beyond. This type of deceptively compact factory megaplex can autonomously maintain several equipment docks, carriers, or even minor shipyards. Although largely self-sufficient, the poor solar irradiance for which these installations were originally built means energy cells have to be supplied externally. Large docking arms are arranged around a ring of production modules in a star formation, allowing unimpeded docking and undocking vectors for up to nine large supply vessels at a time. A central spire forms the administrative backbone, with ample office space overlooking the production and docking areas as well as personal hangar space.

You can, just make sure you have the construction plan for it should you get picked for phase 2. I would suggest you also add way to show the whole station, the video you posted only ever shows portions of it.

Next step, paintmods on station modules :D

This uncatalogued installation has been spotted in the far reaches of Terran space. Among less reputable circles of the Segaris Pioneers, it is rumoured to be a pirate installation involved in the manufacture and design of illicit stimulants. In light of its state of the art equipment, point defence capabilities to deter uninvited investigation and continued operation in Protectorate territory, this is however likely a front for a more secretive or sinister objective.

Well I unfortunately do not have so much time currently to build a large station, but I made this small Solar Flower Plant today. Maybe you like it anyway. Flowers for you :-]

My stations usually have a similar flower-like design. While the production modules usualy are the blossom, the connection and storage modules are always the trunk. The living modules serve as leaves.

I know this one is not as Glorious as many I've seen and would vote for, but what makes is great is how compact it is for 8xChips, 4xSilicon, and only needs food/meds for workers.

newest try, and yes: I like large stations :oops:
Station editor and custom game start is great, so you can spawn such stations in minutes ;)
Only terran modules, self-sufficient wharf (with overproduction):
"Terran HQ" (old images in spoiler, new images below) Unfortunately creating large stations is still "painful", especially with the new rotation-system. But I really like the new possibilities a lot! There are some QoL-suggestions on the board, maybe you can have a look at those. I have Ideas, too.
