"Select Wares" dialog UI suggestion - Further improvements coming in a build after 4.20
Currently the dialog looks like:

As we can see it is rather long and won't become shorter only longer.
The suggestion is to move out "OK/CANCEL" buttons out of the list and make it constantly visible, the same as "Select Wares" checkbox, and put it either below "Select Wares" or at the bottom of the dialog.
Or another option is to remove them completely and add "✓" near "x", which could be used as "OK", "CANCEL" is not required because we already have "x" which does the same.
This change will allow to close/accept new filter without redundant scrolling whole list to bottom.

yes very much, needless scrolling
Fixed ships getting spawned away from ship configuration menu at resupply ships from automatically getting deployables.

I am not sure I would like to see this open all of the time. I usually keep something open in that right hand 'window' but having this open when ever the trade filter screen is displayed is a bit much for me.
HOWEVER, I would love to see the wares choice window to be in two columns... then the scrolling would not need to happen. Open it, click item(s), click OK. JMO.

Or display multiple columns. In my 1920x1080 resolution there's enough room for a second column.

I remember this was in the game once.
But in 4.20 it has been successfully reverted to old implementation (probably due to massive merge).
Another place where the suggestions could be applied:
- select wares to trade in station's "Logical overview"

@ af_2017: The buttons as indicated in the OP picture *are* now always visible in my vanilla 4.20. I wouldn't know what you are seeing in your game nor how/why though. A screenshot of your issue may be useful.

I've seen that window without the buttons at the bottom a few times. I'm not sure what causes them to disappear, but a sequence of opening and closing that window, the filter window and usually the map window itself seems to bring them back, usually. One time I had to save and restore to bring them back. But as florianlt said, it should be fixed in a future patch.

"Select wares" dialog we can see in different areas in the game, I am aware of the following:
1. select trade filters in map
2. select wares to trade for autotrade/distribute wares behaviors
3. select wares to trade in station's logical overview
Case 1 has the dialog according to the suggestions in 4.20.
Cases 2 and 3 have old dialog.
My mistake is assuming that game internally uses same "entity" for all cases. Seems I was wrong
