Impossible Find Resources Mission

I'm wondering if anyone can help. I'm on the last step of a multi-part mission and it's asking me to find ice in Second Contact II. Fine there are some small amounts around, but the most I can find is 3.4/km² and the mission is asking for 10.99/km²! Is this impossible? It seems so to me. Are there any tips for dealing with this, besides using the abort button?

Thank you. This worked well. It's odd because there are zero ice asteroids there at all. In fact the only asteroid nearby is a single ore asteroid with a yield of 55

I was flying around for ages looking for ice asteroids and putting the resource probes near collections of them, but unintuitive that seems to have been the wrong thing to do. How bizarre.

It's odd because there are zero ice asteroids there at all.

It is a "well known" fact that the routine that draws colour to map and creates rocks for high attention does not place then exactly where the resource areas are. The resource probes and low attention miners do use the resource areas.

Crystal ball says: Over 21 in South-East quadrant. Perhaps 250 km from the center
