How do I uninstall Reshade from X4 completely?

Hi guys, today I tried out Reshade and while it looks great, it tanked my performance. I want to remove Reshade from my X4 installation completely. However, it seems it's not as easy as merely removing the "Reshade-shaders" folder and the Reshade.ini files, because after I remove these two files, I still see Reshade menu when launching the game (though the effects are no longer enabled).

Does anyone know if there's any other files installed to my game directory that I need to remove?

Or if I really can't fully uninstall Reshade from my game, I suppose it probably won't make any difference right?

The Reshade forum seems a good place to start. It seems that you are not the only one finding it a rather tenacious survivor!
