I'd like this. Also allow us to easily move planned modules up or down the build queue using an arrow key or something.

Re: Crazy Station Idea
It is so good to see I am not the only building holic.
Thats just about all I do is find a spot and get building, spending hours, no days. Playing with Modules. And getting them to do what they are not intended to do.
Keep the build madness alive, love it.

Re: Crazy Station Idea (There's a request in there EGOSOFT)
So I have 460 more to go.
Huge favor egosoft.... d'you think you guys could add a function to stations. Called Group Production or Single Production? Let me explain. Let's say I have 5 hull productions, as it is right now, as soon as a factory as enough resources it'll be listed as 1/5 running at the moment.... But I this case of crazy, that's ALOT of calculations. At that point I'd rather have the 5 modules be recognized as 1, and as a single calculations? That shouldn't be too hard to implement would it?
I've seen something similar asked somewhere... but couldn't find anything, If anyone could link to a thread along those lines?

Re: Crazy Station Idea
Really? This. Especially since I discovered station modules don't even need to be connected to each other to function.
So a plot with docking bays, storage and all the production modules somewhere within that 20x20x20 cube would work?
No connections at all are necessary??
Re: Crazy Station Idea
Nope ..... Pro-tip : Use only one type of connecting bloc. Export plan. Open the construction plan in a text editor. remove useless pieces. That sounds easy, but that was the only way I could accomplish this beastvisi wrote: ↑Thu, 15. Apr 21, 00:35Really?This. You should submit this plan for the contest !Abaws wrote: ↑Wed, 3. Jun 20, 22:26Let's call this day 1 of the 'Bad Idea'
I'd like to see or hear about your crazy station/complex.
What's the biggest one you tried, and how bad/good was it.
I'm starting a project and I'd like to know about your experiences. My biggest one to date has around 500 production modules. As is it gonna become much easier to share plans in the near future. Let's make this thread the go to for the big stuff. Either style or efficiency.
Let's hear your stories.... screenshot appreciated.

Re: Crazy Station Idea
Indeed a crazy idea and a "doomsday" scenario at that. All this production will just, eventually, kill the economy since prices will get too low and the factions will stop producing and only buying...-=SiR KiLLaLoT=- wrote: ↑Thu, 16. Sep 21, 02:54

Wrong!
This production is completely closed in on itself, all the ships do not go beyond Napileos and I let the NPCs write the history of the universe in that game.
What I can do now, after 22 days of playing without SETA, is to change the faction wars by selling ships to whoever I want.
The shipyard's production power is such that the faction can produce hundreds of ships in less than 30 minutes.
In the game the HOPs were nearly dead, with only 2 sectors remaining...
I unlocked the sale to them and they bought so many of those ships to DISINTEGRATE all enemies in their way, coming back strong as before!
The advantage is that I can double the production with simple copy and paste, making it possible to sell ships to multiple factions at once and create unprecedented epic wars
