I have only found the tu......... 9+10 sectors so far.

Were blast mortars and kyon emitters in the encyclopedia before the patch?

Jumped into the 3.0 beta for the first time now that beta 5 is out and I have to say, I'm really impressed with the graphical improvements! I hadn't anticipated there being quite such a difference from 2.6 to 3.0, but immediately upon loading my usual save game in the 3.0 beta everything looked much sharper, the lighting effects (such as pulsing red lights on defence platforms) really stand out now and the new weapon effects look really nice.

I was also really impressed with the improvements to the layout of the menus and the general UI responsiveness in the map screen - it's really polished off what was already a good game experience and made it much easier to see exactly what's going on with all my assets.

So, I'd like to say well done to the Egosoft team for how well 3.0 is shaping up, I'm really looking forward to the first expansion to add the new content on top of the engine improvements.




(PS: A 'small' feature request if I may for beyond 3.0 - would it be possible to have a way to view / modify station 'plans' without actually assigning them to a plot? Sometimes I want to take a chunk of a station I've already built as a template for future stations I'm not building immediately, so if I could save the plan, then remove extra bits I don't want in a standalone 'plan editor' and re-save it, that would be really handy. Would also help me see what my various blueprints look like / contain without dumping them into a plot. Doesn't add anything you can't already do in a roundabout way, but given that the editor UI is there, I hope it would be possible to reuse it in this way.)

I would have to agree with this 100% … I started a new 3.0b5 game and my FPS jumped from the low 50's to the low 60's & I run the game at full 4k (3840x2160). It never made it to 60fps on any of my other starts including the 3.0b4 from just a couple of months ago.

MSI Gaming Edge 570 MB
Ryzen 7 3700 w/ Stock Cooler
32 Gb @ 3200 Mhz RAM (2x16 Sticks)
MSI Gaming RX 5700 (not the XT)
WD Black 1-TB SSD (3.0 in the 4.0 Slot)

I built it for the most power with the least consumption of it … 65w Processor & 185w GPU on a 650w power supply.

Localization string "Progress" for Mission: "Eye For An Eye" doesn't apply correctly in ship HUD (bottom left MESSAGES menu).

Looking at video footage from latest beta I notice some new things for Large turrets:

Argon large plasma is blue like Argon destroyer weapon:

Paranid Large beam weapon is violet, while Argon beam weapon is blue:

Will we have racial FX color down to M-turrets?
I see that in latest 3.0 beta most of the turrets already have racial stats.

@ all: Please report new gameplay issues in appropriate existing or new threads in the Public Beta forum with the required supporting information. Issues not new to the beta go in the Tech Support forum and also with supporting information. Either way, not in here. Thanks.

Any educated guesses when Vendetta und 3.0 will be out? Since it's already beta 5....
I am in the mood of starting some building-up game right now, but I don't want to start a 50+ hours savegame and then the Split turn up. :gruebel:

Anything on the days/weeks/months scale?
:idea: BUG REPORT INFO: I play X4 vanilla (no beta). Here is my DXdiag and Vulkaninfo, I have too many bugs reported to always put it in.

If they keep their promises on the content I think it will take at least a month in my opinion. The entire mission and faction system is missing and I doubt it takes less. If they then want to launch it in its current state ... Maybe times are getting shorter but it would be a disappointment since the long-awaited 3.0 hasn't done much for now.

3.0 hasn't done much? There are so many changes, fixes and additions. How has it not done much?

3.0 hasn't done much? There are so many changes, fixes and additions. How has it not done much?
Additions? Certainly a step forward. The game has objectively improved. But there is no content. There is no depth. Currently X4 is boring and 3.0 should be the watershed of miracles, the update that after more than a year would have finally given a decent start to the game. I understand that many are happy, however personally I am totally dissatisfied with this new chapter and I wait for the 3.0 to sum up, despite having comored the collection and new hardware to play
