Please document peak workforce efficiency in-game per module

Post by jakotheshadows » Wed, 9. Jan 19, 02:16

The only place I am aware of that this is actually documented in any sort of official way is from the wiki:
https://www.egosoft.com:8444/confluence ... on+Modules

I know that these values can be computed from the from the columns efficiency % / worker and max workers, but what I don't understand is why peak efficiency % isn't documented somewhere in game? We can see what the peak workers are for a station only after we've built it in-game afaik, and nowhere in game does it say what the efficiency / worker is or the max efficiency for each module is. This tells me someone had to go through and experimentally run these modules up to peak efficiency workforce by hand to calculate all of this stuff manually, or it was added by internal staff, or someone managed to datamine these figures from the game. It's hard to plan decent complexes without knowing these numbers, so please please please, I'd really like to see this documented in 2 particular places: 1 - the encyclopedia, and 2 - in the plan build screen when looking at station production. Having to build the module to see its peak workforce count OR its maximum efficiency, or alternatively heading out to the wiki to dig it up, is not terribly fun.

The values on the wiki are totally wrong, my guess is that the person who took those values from the game files didn't fully understand how the bonus efficiency meant. Going by the wiki, Energy Cell fab has a max efficiency of 115% (60*0.25=15), which is wrong, it's actually 125%. MIcrochips would be max 166% according to wiki, actual max is 122%.

Here are my values that I got from the game files and confirmed in-game:
Name Workers Max Efficiency
Energy Cell Production 60 125%
Antimatter Cell Production 120 121%
Graphene Production 120 127%
Refined Metal Production 150 125%
Silicon Wafer Production 150 122%
Superfluid Coolant Production 120 128%
Advanced Composite Production 210 120%
Engine Part Production 150 127%
Hull Part Production 180 122%
Microchip Production 300 122%
Plasma Conductor Production 150 125%
Scanning Array Production 210 124%
Quantum Tube Production 150 130%
Advanced Electronic Production 360 122%
Antimatter Converter Production 720 123%
Claytronic Production 810 120%
Drone Component Production 450 125%
Field Coils Production 540 125%
Missile Component Production 15 130%
Shield Components Production 150 125%
Smart Chips Production 40 122%
Turret Components Production 150 130%
Weapon Component Production 150 130%

I don't have the values for the food/drugs production because i've been too busy lately and stopped playing X4, but you can find them in the Wares files.

This is exactly why we need these figures documented in-game.
