Egosoft - Please urgently submit Steam pricing in AUD - resolved.

Hi all,

Steam offers, as of November 21st, all its games in Australian Dollars. However, it is incumbent on the Developers/Publishers to set the store price in all the currencies/territories. If there is no submission of a sale price for any of the products, it simply will not be purchasable in that country. Which is the case with X4...

I live in Melbourne, and have been waiting for the currency to switch over to AUD so I would finally know how much I am paying for my games.

I have also been having quite a hard time restraining my index finger from hitting the pre-purchase button for X4...

I'd like to pull the trigger on this, now that I can buy in my own currency, but I can't, because the purchase is no longer available here.
Please, EGOSOFT, urgently submit Steam pricing in AUD, and you will have one more sold game...

Hello, I'm from Australia and I purchased the game some time ago. my receipts say I paid $49.99 USD. My bank statements show that I paid $72.90 AUD. Hope this helps.

Thanks for that, but that's not my problem.

As of today the Australian Steam store displays its prices in AUD rather than USD.
And, as of today, there is NO MORE OPTION to pre-purchase X4 Foundations on Steam.

And I really would like to... But I can't. Until Egosoft submit an AUD purchase price to Steam.

Although not helping you with pricing in the Steam store, you should be able to still get it from the Egosoft store. This will at least give you the option let you pre-purchase.
You'll only get a steam key there anyways

We have already done our part of this, but with timezone differences it is likely to take some time for Steam to catch up and sort it out.

Edit: Steam have now done their part and it should be working again.
