Hmm... maybe we need a separate topic for observations?

And what is surprise? :?
He is joking by talking about a release trailer for the forum.
Exactly, it breaks my heart
That's a very strange reaction to a joke. Especially to one that is so obvious, if you talk about a trailer in the forum update topic. ;) An update some of us have been waiting for for about ten years (or less).

Also, I thought we established already that it's not a good idea to release a trailer and announce the release date, thus drawing more attention to the forum, while the forum is still being updated, and may not run as stable as it needs to be.

I know it and understand, it was sarcasm from me. I'm very glad to see updated forum, it's really cool.

Sarcasm does not translate well over the internet.

An issue for me is that the page number for the threads is over to the right and not under the topic link, leading me to assume there was no pages for the topic untill I realized the page numbers were waaaaaaaay over to the right side of the screen.
Just... another... bug.

Just one thing. The Game registration page title in the user settings is not translated from German, it shows "Spiel Registrierung" instead of "Game Registration" (or "Registazione gioco" in Italian :P )

Edit: MOBILE USERS:

The bbs codes wrap around the text IF YOU HAVE THE TEXT HIGHLIGHTED. So quotes, links, pics, etc need the text highlighted and THEN press the command.

Works great though and is easier, so kudoes there too.

@Hank001
I don't get the problem you are having. The BBCode gets wrapped around your currently marked text. So you can write first, then wrap the text in BBCode. :)

On my Android phone the keyboard automatically appears when only the cursor gets wrapped in BBCode.

Code: Select all

Und wenn ein Forenbösewicht, was Ungezogenes spricht, dann hol' ich meinen Kaktus und der sticht sticht sticht.

Like the above quote, the old way was press quote, paste text, press quote again to close. Now it's paste the text and it drops in the well, then go back and highlight the text, then press the quote button, then the code wraps. Which I like, but I had to guess it worked like another site I'm on. Plus where's the key to what the new icons mean and the new procedures listed? Like a how to? I still can't get it say: Write out a video title and have it link the video URL to the text.

There is a "quote" button in the upper right corner of the posts to make everything quicker :) (well, you still have to quote manually though if you want to quote more messages at once)

That much was a gimme. It was things like needing to highlight the text, how to do this and that for mobile users who don't have mouse clicks or control keys, etc. I get what some of the icons above (Like ") mean but some are arcane.

I just haven't found where the whazzits and how to's are is all. I'm in the minority who RTFM.

Firefox 62.0, Linux.
And, of course, in Firefox 62.0.2 (64-bit) Windows:

Set your web page scaling to 100% and this little edge is gone.

Code: Select all

Tamina, yep, it is gone, soon to be followed by my eyes if I keep it at 100% :D

EDIT: actually, it isn't even gone at 100%. Only on the search bar on the banner, top right. It stays jutting in the forum header.

I posted it on Screenshot thread but here is a better location…

Before forum update, when we clicked on pictures, the pictures opend in new tab beside now, it opens in current tab... not very practical I think...

Is there a setting I missed in new forum's profile or is it disabled ??
