Oh are you saying if I replace the files in the mod with the ones from 'into the corridor', I will spawn in the normal place? If I'm subscribed to the mod in the workshop though, will that not cause it to re-sync the files back to normal?

At the moment the files are the same. But for reinsurance, just copy to the mod folder: cat / dat files

I love this mod. So take this not as a complaint, but something to be aware of ;)

This mod will not work on Linux or macOS because the file paths are in Windows format (eg. "\a\b\c\" instead of "/a/b/c/").
A search and replace will be a lot of work. Any chance you could provide a Linux/Mac compatible version?

good job, the new screens are really nice, Im missing one tiny feature: at the galaxy map the current locations is marked with a green ring but the current system at the sector is not
Is it possible to get a marker for the system the ship is at ?

- Added map data files for the Herschels Geschenk mod (Herschel's Gift)
- Reworked completely addons for mods (Herschels Geschenk, Transcend, lostsector). Old add-ons must be removed and replaced with new ones.

Just wanted to say thank you to alexalsp :)

I have a GOG version of X:Rebirth (4.30) that i started playing recently, and mods have improved it measurably and thanks to your googledrive link i have been able to enoy one of the 'must have' mods for Rebirth, even though it is locked away behind Steam (which i do not use). So thank you very much for allowing GOG users to get the best from this pretty awesome game.

I LOVE THIS MOD! :)

It truly gives a sense of being in charge of a fleet. The 360 degree view gives great view for managing battles. Not to the mention, the spectacular view.

Thanks. I don't have access to steam or nexus mods. Direct downloads are better.

FYI, this mod makes Auto-Dock-Repair so much better. You actually see a worker welding the skunk. I love to see addon for this. You enter the docking bay viewpoint. You see workers around the skunk and repair drones. When you see 'repair complete', the workers and repair drones move off.

I downloaded the mod but the resulting file is a .dat file and I have no idea what to do with it. Dropping it in the extensions folder as is does nothing and I haven't found any instructions anywhere yet on how to install mods that come as .dat files.

I would appreciate a little guidance here.

Copy the mod folder to the extensions folder in the game folder.
