And so the list goes into motion again. They killed Shady Slater! (insert South Park quotes here). Shady Slater gets removed at startup with the cue to remove the broken pilots from the new long mission chain. Grumbles.

A new, and rather epic RC has arrived (S/M ship sale bugs seem fixed but undeclared!). Good for the game, bad for our antipodean friend :)

you can also add my Faction logo Mod (release post in a few minutes, just have to translate ist ^^ ) - in fact it was developed under the 2.5 Beta and for the time being i will only support Beta7 or any later Version as soon as i update until 2.5 is released oficially.

I notice the XR_Planets and XR_Nebulas are still compatible ... Do they still make a difference as when they were first released .... ?

Used all three but removed when did fresh install back before Secret Service patch...Thanks for the info.

Mug of coffee later and installed ....

God I forgot or took for granted how beautiful this game looks ...Stunning.

Mods I reported as working in beta 6 seem fine in beta 7. Now I just hope Faster Ships or something like it can fix whatever 7 did to ship movement because they're pigs in space currently.

That or beta 8 gets here quick.

Sadly faster ships doesn't fix the speed bug. My titurel rreoprts 120m/s and moves about 12 :| I watched 2 episodes of family guy waiting for it to fly from the glaring truth jump beacon to refuel lol.

Makes me wish even harder that ships near enough to a gate could just jumpdrive through it. But yes, I'm running faster ships and it doesn't help, just hoping an update to it will somehow magically fix things.

I just quit for the evening earlier because I couldn't stomach watching my Lyramekron try to make its way to the gate after it shut its booster off a couple dozen kilometers away and is now crawling there. I roughly timed it as it was hovering over a dual highway and it still hadn't dragged its body over the first one in 3+ minutes. That was enough.

Any info on the "hydrogen mining medium ship" bug that causes a problem with Transcend mod has been rectified... ?
I started a new game with 2.5 beta and intend adding Transcend later .... Slower progress as I am not capping/selling makes for a more satisfying experience.

The bug was part of the 2.5 beta RC6 release, and seems to have been fixed in 2.5 beta RC7.
