Hello Yorrick,
atm i am doing a lot of testing with YAT ( yat ships earned me now about 200 Mio Cr's :))
btw i discovered the following:
Captured Rahanas (Container & Energy) repaired it and set it up
Assigned it to YAT, working well (Setting ANY)
After i get more into the trading system of XR, i tried to
assigen this rahanas from ANY to Enery only
(System Albion , checked that there are trade possibilites)
But, the Rahanas still trades Containers.
Tried this for one of my Titurels, same result.

btw:
do i have to stop all YAT assignment and reassing them after un upadte of YAT ?

will look into it. you are aware that any trade already in progress will continue before changes to settings are looked at yes? and you shouldn't have to restart them. i'll mention it if i think its needed. can always try and see if it clears an issue :)

well, i did some tries with changing form ANY to Energy
before posting. Stopped Trading, Reaasigned it and so on ...

btw stopping trading and reassign ships to YAT has become a lot easier with the actual version 2.03 on my opinion.
i worked a lot with YAT the last days and before 2.03
i had some issues handling the ships. i could all get the way i wanted
but it but needed some grouping assinig and so on.

the only "-" on 2.03 is, that if you have a big fleet of traders
one could organise the trading fleet better with the previous version.
e.g. i selected one trader ship as leader for Albion, and assigned all trade ships that was planned for doing system wide trade in Albion to this ship.
after that i assigned these ships to YAT (and they stayed in this group)
so i had 3 trading groups, AL, OL, TR e.g

In Version 2.03 if i assign a ship to YAT its not anymore assigned to a group.
Pls dont see this as a complaint, i just want to mention it, its a bit cosmetic only and i guess thats the cost of the now better handling.

and thank you Yorrick for doing these great mod, YAT really rocks !

minor miner update

Miner role should be reliably selectable. Trade off is different visible attention handling and that any bulk ware ship with correct drones can now mine.

@Xuu42 completely forgot your bug until i posted, think i've found the error. Should be fixed next update.

In large empires like mine

If YAT become "state lost" its chaos to find out
its happen often because between player station <> player ship

Yat transfer stuffs , not sell - i think you can change it
Other thing about Yat going transfer thing to CV , but CV ared supplied with stuffs , usual its case lost state

state lost? i'm not following what you mean mate.

YAT *should* be tracking the transfers and faking payment to keep the books balanced. if not I'll have to set up something to find the error.

Again with CV 'case lost state' I do not understand.

i had some issues a few days ago with trying to change the range to trade.

- assign new commander: Trade
- change settings
= ship will start searching for wares
- call captain
- ask for configuration
- update settings
= ship will stop trading
- call captain
- tell to stop what he is doing
- assign new commander: Trade
= ship will start searching for wares

i dont remember if was by Broadcasting...

edit: also i think they are ignoring player stations unless there is no other ware to trade. i kinda miss work for player stuff only option.
cuz stations does not do galaxy trade...

Will look into this. As for player sttaions currently the traders look at profit only, so will only pick up player station stuff if it is the best trade available. YAT has never been soley for player trading. That said I do intend, and have started sketching out a YAT station trader mode where a ship is assigned and trades with one statoin without engaging the terrible manager ai.

i guess what is happening is:
the vanilla UI doesnt show the current price (N/A) but the profit of all items from a particular player ware. so it can look like 3.500.000.00CR Profit
while the Trader sees by the requested amount only which can be a value like 200.000.00CR giving the illusion of ignoring that bigger profit.

@jojorne - i dont see the traders fail on change of cofig. Do you have a save file showing this please? and can you confirm it is with current version 2.03.

As for not seeing player made goods for profit : Because I use self written profit finding code, YAT wil see player bought goods in the same way as it sees npc bought. In another area I force the payment to/from manager so stations are not bled dry of cash by auto trading. I recently added code to prevent YAT ships buying goods that you have set as 'restricted' on your station. This is to prevent YAT breaking trade loops between player stations buy selling produce and intermediate wares to npcs.

is it possible for yat to use the station managers account instead of the players account for free trading?
if that is possible most of the trade spam should stop

edit2: i 'm looking into the Trade Deals Profit.

i have Cut Crystals Profit 1.572.623CR sitting there for a while...
Nividium Cubes 1.235.711CR also...
station Restrict Trade to other faction set to NO

Hi Yorrick. I posted this in another section of this forum and have been told it maybe your mod that gives me these extra options for the warehouse. Is this intended? Just asking because the mod description does not say anything about it. If it is and it is mentioned somewhere in these posts then I apologise for not searching.
