How does the trading system work in x rebirth? How do I find out what a station sell and buys?
Do I need to manually fly to a shop boiling on the side of some stations?
Or play in a mini game?

Jepp. You have to play mini games, only step 1, to get a sales rep on this station. But only with merchants, not with any person you can hire. And since the games are unpredictable, ALWAYS save before addressing the person.
