I thought I saw....a UFO...

After weeks of sceptical thoughts about UFO's....
..
..I finally saw one last night. It was in the sector just south of the pirate anarchy base :)

I was chugging along in my Osprey (thinking about taking out the anarchy base) when this cute little thing trundles past..

Unfortunately by the time I thought 'I wonder if I can cap it?' it was out of range and all my speedy toys were at the other end of the universe :(

Moral of the story....Don't trundle around the universe in an Osprey (or at least bring your TL along for the ride)

i havent found the UFO base but i have found a UFo told 1 off my fast ships 2 follow but lost it in a xenon setor lol

Actually it is alledged someone really has captured one, somewhere in America...Think the words 'Area 51' has something to do with it.

I followed a UFO for a while once, just to see where he'd go. He flew the same route back and forth and was heading out for his third leg when I got bored and left him alone.

You cannot capture the UFO

also, theres only 1 UFO, if u kill it, its gone...

It has not been proved it exists, nor has it been proved it doesn't.

That is like saying their is no other life in the universe apart from us, scientists are on the edge of a breakthrough but if you said to someone about it 100 years ago they would never of beleived you, doesn't mean it isn't true.

Philosophy is just too easy to do today :lol:

Prove there isn't a stick of celery 55 stories high on the far side of pluto and it controls the fate of the universe! The UFO base... hmmm. I don't know what to think, I mean, why should there be one? There is no logical reason for one to exist. Oh well, I'm not saying there isn't one though, there might be. I'll just wait it out.

They spawn randomly in sectors that the player isn't in.

If you fly to the North Pole you will see a dark mass there (like a black hole)...if you go into it, you will come out into a whole new universe - thats where the UFO's come from.

Its a wormhole to another solar system (one where the little grey men with no genitalia live)

Or it is the South Pole...I think its the North.
