This little script adds a pirate shipyard to the sector "Loomankstrats legacy" (Loomancketstrats Vermächtnis in german).
The shipyard will be hostile by default, you have to hack it to be able to land (look at blackboard in pirate bases),
there is a little script (i consider it a CHEAT at the moment ! ) though that gives you the ability to land:

"Pirate.Yard.set.relation.xml" - execute and select station that you want to become friendly.

NOTE: beware ! script will be executed automatically ! once you saved your game the yard will only dissapear when you destroy it or remove it with another script, not just by deleting the scriptfiles !

Version 1.1:

- There is a Pirate-Teladi-M6 patroling the sector now (fighting also Khaak).
- improved script so that it will only be executed once (in version 1.0 shipyard was respawned with every game start)


known problems:

- prices seem a bit unbalanced, i used the default values

Install:

Just extract to your X2-folder, script-file will then be placed in your x2/scripts/ directory.

Is it possible to make the shipyard and Anachy Port "active". Anarchy port has "Owned Ships" but none are ever seen docked and I think goods are not delivered to nor bought from it. I don't know if you added any "Owned Ships" to the shipyard if that would make ones docked at it but it would make it seem more active... I think.

I feel like I am asking so much of everyone so if this is not possilbe or you just don't have time then don't worry about it. The Script is Great as is. And once again, thanks.

a new version is coming soon :) , it'll include a Pirate-Teladi-M6 patroling the sector and some station owned ships flying around ;)

hehe I once had the same idea... in the same sector hihi but kinda didn't have the time to work much on it lately. Maybe you also want to drop some asteroids, scrapped ships, and other space scrap in the sector to hide the pirate base in it?

And I still fancy that special object, what was it? #9 or #17? somewhere around there... that huge asteroid with the blue/red lighted tunnel through it..... anything up to a TS fits through it -the later is pretty tricky to get through, but it works.... so I think one really should use that pretty asteroid as an entrance hihi - sadly my other experiments with placing special objects turned out that most all results ended pretty random... one second the script spawned the right crap, run a minute later the same script would spawn totaly different items though :( Haven't quite figured it yet.

Hmm must have missed that one in normal gameplay then... and I had thought I had scanned each and every asteroid hehe.

Yeah, the UFO Base is not much, since a lot of people expected something a LOT more than just a tunnel inside an asteroid. Some people even went as far as to speculate that the UFO Base carried uber weaponry/equipment.

Can you give a more concrete description of the location, im trying to find it myself in Loomstrakt's legacy, tell me if its nearer to the south or north gate? Currently, I decided to go searching, yet I found everything (Including lots of spaceflies) Except that.

hmmm, mind just copy-pasting the script? I tried spawning both the specials of 8, 9, and 17, along with the asteroids, eh?

Special object 14. Only in the Galaxy editor.

made a little Update to Version 1.1:

i have to admit that i had no time to include the other station owned ships :oops: there are plans for some Pirate-TS to loop between the two stations but i don't know when this will be realized :(

if someone else whats to do it, no problem, take the script -> make the changes -> tell me and i'll have a look at it :D

After some consideration and comprisons I think the prices of the ships are about right. I both compared them to the other ships of there classes (strengths and weaknesses), and compare the amount of money you get when selling a ship (about half of what it would cost to buy it).

Dear dPM_HeMan,

In the past I downloaded your lovely pirate.xtrensnion.v1.1 and now I've downladed this version 2.2, which I can't wait to try!

On a second note, I want to help a fellow Forum user who would like to downlaod a script that works like your Pirate.Yard.set.relation.xml but I don't think that this file is in the pirate.xtrensnion.v2 script pack.

Can you help him please by replying to say where the Pirate.Yard.set.relation.xml script can now be found?
