New trailer coming soon....When is soon

According to this Twitter of September 13, we would have a new trailer soon including the release date. So far, nothing.... :cry:

In order to know "when is soon" you need to know the time scale in question.

Since we don't know the timescale with much degree certainty here is list of possibilities with the most likely ones almost definitely omitted from the list:

Plank (Quantum) Time Scale Soon: It passed by countless times while you were reading this.

Toddler Time Scale Soon: Before the end of the current cartoon, meal, or just as the store clerk points you toward the privy.

Geological Time Scale Soon: Just before the next Ice Age.

Dog Years Time Scale Soon: A lot like your own personal Soon just seven times Sooner.

Universal Time Scale Soon: After the collision of the Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies starts but before our Sun goes nova.

Blood Cell Soon: However long it take to travel from the aorta to any given vein.

Hollywood Soon: About 90 minutes.

Political Time Scale Soon: Soon is Fake News.

In that case maybe I should make it a mission to see if I can get you guys to push the trailer past the game's release. Then everyone'll be confused. ;)

Or better yet, to push the trailer all the way to the next game's release. "X5 is almost here! And now that Akrion has stopped asking about it, check out this trailer for X4!"

Release date could be december 18th, on my birthday :p

Its weird that now we get excited to wait for a release date of the preview video with the release date of a video game.

I think Bernd's method of not saying a thing about a release date of anything is best untill theyre ready to release a release date of something.

Though his still saying sometime in 2018 and 2018 is running out so saying anything about some time must mean its gotta be some time sooner than later since soon is also running out.

Just be patient and keep your self occupied, just look at me, I design coastlines.

I know some people were taking some numbers off a picture and say it's going be dec 18th and it does land on a Tuesday. But they would have to be the worst devs in the world to be that silly. It would be better to delay it early Jan and become the new game of 2019 then to release it right before a holiday. if anything bad happens they will not be redeemed a 2nd time on steam reviews.

And of which holiday in January are you speaking? Next one would be eastern in April for most western countries I suppose. And how would it prevent bad reviews exactly? :?

No no, I'm saying Push it to Jan instead of Dec 18th because Dec 18- Jan 1st is a holiday for a lot of places most people not working etc. It would suck for the game to drop dec 18 the devs go away for holidays and all the sudden there is a major crash bug that makes it almost unplayable on 50% of systems.
