Legendary recording of Sweet Child o' Mine, ABSOLUTELY LEGENDARY.
Just amazing

-"Wow these polyrhythms are really complicated"
-"I regained my virginity"
-"I just cant stop thinking about the neighbors... Poor bastards"

I think that "special" doesn't do it justice. And noticed how they wrote their names at the beginning of the video? Unless those are all aliases, which would make a lot more sense than someone publicly associating themselves with that. Anyway, back on topic with a catchy prom tune:OmegaKnight wrote:That's... specialnotaterran wrote:Legendary recording of Sweet Child o' Mine

Take On Me is definitely classic 80s pop
We got Rick Rolled! I guess an 80s thread would be the time to do it (not that it's a bad song but IMO a song can be too catchy). For me, one of the "most 80s" songs would be Rock And Roll Children. Sure, it looks corny but watch it from the point of view of a kid 30 years ago. And here's another one for the "most 80s" title: Girlschool.

The tail end of the 80's but one of my most played at the time

That only shows how prolific the 80s were .Morkonan wrote:Just a comment: A good many of these songs were songs that never made it to the charts in the US, so they're completely new to me. Not a bad thing, really, but it just demonstrates that everyone's "80's Experience" was certainly not the same.
Tracks for a pensive mood:
Bruce Hornsby - Mandolin Rain
Breathe - Hands To Heaven

I mean, I heard they happened everywhere! Amazing! Just another reason why the 80's were the best!

And now for some underground stuff (someone might call it experimental). I'd like to clarify that I've probably never heard this sober:
Mr. Bungle - Waltz For Grandma's Sake
If for some reason you happen to like this band (some moments are kind of interesting) check out Disco Volante.
