Ship Device for remembering purchased prices

Hidy ho all,

This may be in X3TC already, or it might not.

Basically, a device or addition to an existing trade command software that remembers the purchased price of trade commodities.

So that, when your trying to make your fortune by trading, you have it saved what you purchased a commodity for, so that you can sell it for a profit (or the best possible profit you can).

I'm asking for this, because I'm a more casual gamer with my current trader. I might put the game down for a week, or two. Then pick it back up, and try trading again. Get hooked, play it daily. Then put it back down again.

This script/mod would allow me to fill up my hold with very cheaply priced goods (E-cells, Beef, meat steak cahoona's ect.), put the game down for a bit, then come back to it again, and continue where I left off.

If this doesn't exist, is this even possible? If this does exist in the game already, what device is it, and were can you find it?
