[4.20] minorISSUE - detection of input problems

When I first tried out the game, it started with a fast rotating space ship, because my attached joystick was not properly centered. The rotation was so fast, that I got motion sick before I could find an option in any of the various menus to get it under control. All I could do is take off the headset and shutdown the game.

As analog input devices sometimes get out of calibration, the game should maybe check the axes at the beginning and deactivate uncalibrated sticks or warn the user to unplug such a device before he gets [vomiting smiley]

Thanks for the info.

Possibly naive clarification question since I don't own the hardware:

Would taking off the headset earlier, and trying to sort the issue in 2D mode be a work-around in the meantime?
