Is there a way to rebuild the Plutarch Overwatch?

I destroyed it after I finished the campaign because it was messing with my trade ships, but here I am, hundreds of hours later, and I kind of miss the ol' lug. Is there a way to turn this station carcass into the real deal again? I'm open to both in-game and cheat methods.

Not sure if this affects anything, but I recently noticed the Overwatch has a hangerbay that is intact. Not sure if it somehow appeared by itself or if I never destroyed it to begin with.

I'm not sure about mods/cheats but there's no regular in-game way to do it.

Unfortunately (or fortunately if it would still be hostile), not in vanilla. However, something like that is entirely possible via mods and edits - see the S&M forum if interested.

If you're referring to its hollow centre, I don't think it's really a hangar bay (at least, not in any functional sense - but it may be in a "flavour" manner of speaking, I suppose) - while the station is still active, it is possible to fly into this cavity and take it (the station) out from within, as there are relatively few guns guarding this interior space.

Not quite. I'm talking about a URV Launcher on the side of it. I could have sworn I had destroyed everything, but I recently noticed this URV Launcher on the side at 100% which got me thinking about how I wouldn't mind having the whole Overwatch up and running.[/img]

Ah, right. Well, I seem to remember seeing mention somewhere (a long time ago, and in a galaxy far far away Razz ) of a mod that allowed something like what you are referring to. It was a long time ago, though, so I don't know whether it would still be around, especially as it seemed mainly to be a way of stopping Plutarch from rebuilding it once it had been gotten out the way (before that got fixed in a patch, I think circa 3.5ish, perhaps even 3.0).
