FYI. Ahem... so spoilers everywhere.

So finally got the mission a bit back. Did the whole thing... it's random and mine went meh. Got the fleet next to a zone with station and I decided to body slam a station, that didn't end well for it obviously and my ships didn't even get a chance to get to the zone before the whole thing ended, I did use up my missle supply blowing all the weapons off I and K's but anyhoo.

Rewards. Finally a plot mission with rewards that don't suck profoundly... aka credits. I got 4 billion credits and even before I had credits drippin out of skunks cargo bay they ment next to nothing.

1. Friend of Toride discount. Large discount on every single Toride station... that's pretty cool and actually useful.
2. Trade Agents for all Toride stations... Now I already had TAs everwhere so wasn't that useful for me but holy balls that is a useful reward considering amount of time that you waste on getting trade agents everywhere.
3. A unique ship?! Balls. Simply bloody awesome. I don't even care that S is of no practical use... I love unique rewards. I stashed it in the back end of Glaring Truth at DHA ontop of my own stations just to make sure nobody touches it.

It's a shame that the first plot mission to give rewards that don't simply suck in every concievable way, is DLC only and it's 4.0. Took a long time...

Funny story with me getting that S back to DV. So I went and escorted the little bugger personally all the way. As we passed though Albion some "kind" npc capital ship passed close enough to pull poor little S while it was in highway... it started spinning and me being on autopilot... Betty(did you know Betty is an actual NPC? with skills? they are abysmall btw... naturally) was also going bat shit trying to autofollow a spinning ship... and there comes exit from highway we are both bumping into stuff and end up getting propelled out. So as everything spins there just had be Arawn right there next to exit... we both end up flying right into flight deck all the way in, slam at the back wall where drone bays are and...... Betty proudly announces "Autopilot EPIC fail." I had the misfortune of sipping tea right at that moment... tea was everywhere, I fell of the chair... being sick my muscle pain and bad cought and ending up with a huge bump on my head I still couldnt help but laugh for the next hour.

How do you start that mission chain?? :) I havent been to Toride much so having all trade agents is pretty useful.

That S, what kinda ship is it?
Sure glad I didn't purchase a new computer this release.

S is a small xenon miner, 3 mk2 surface miners and a mining laser.

Starting it... erm, it's a bit of random occurrence. You either need to run into a xenon fleet in Toride, should have I and a few Ks or take distress missions until one of them leads to to that fleet. It's random and where fleet is random as well, when you meet it for the first time mission directs you to gtfo fast and gather 5 cap ships that need to be brought to Toride after which you are directed to continue... you can also ignore that and simply destroy that fleet anyhow.

Btw distress missions are when you are in Toride and someone screams about being attacked, press your action key and it opens mission briefing, run and save a ship.

You got credits for that mission? I got the station agents and discounts, but didn't get a single credit for completing the mission.
