[SPOILERS] Mapping the 3 New Systems

Hi folks.

Completed the Albion Mission to map the new systems.

I'm not 100% certain i've found every zone.
If you see one that isn't in the list, please share it here and I will updated the map.

Added image link, removed spoiler boxes.

TORRIDE *Fixed* (Thanks Rei) Updated to fixed zone designations from latest builds.

your Map of Toride is not complete yet - there are 18 permanent Zones ;) (highest number atm is 17, and number 11 is present two times) - but abusing Anomalies you can locate them all in 10 minutes ;)
if not stated otherwise everything i post is licensed under WTFPL

Ich mache keine S&M-Auftragsarbeiten, aber wenn es fragen gibt wie man etwas umsetzen kann helfe ich gerne weiter ;)

I wont do Script&Mod Request work, but if there are questions how to do something i will GLaDly help ;)

I think this save has all the new zones unlocked, but I can't be sure; please let me klnow if there are any others you find!

Wiki X3:TC vanilla: Guide to generic missions, Guide to finding & capping Aran
Never played AP; all X3 advice is based on vanilla+bonus pack TC or before: AP has not changed much WRT general advice.

I know how to spell teladiuminumiumium, I just don't know when to stop!

I've found the missing zones. completed the Albion mission of mapping sectors.

I was missing about 5 zones from Konini and 1 from the Quarry in Cold Star.

i'll update the maps later in day so people can find them all, I saw a really awesome Xenon Station that i've never seen before in 1 of the above finds.

How much of those new zones are actually populated? I mean with real economy? I hope its not like Teladi Outpost where you have 1 single station and only 4 wares to trade with.

Torrid and Black Star is mainly Industrial buildings, Metalworks, Water, Energy.
No High-Tech fabs, but that's what the new Warehouses are for, I just built one last night, it's pretty cool, you choose what is bought and sold, it also brings Universal Traders to it, so you can still get items delivered to that system even if you don't have the factories to build them.
So it's a big feature add, which should of been there in the first place as all X games have had Universal trading.
But this one probably works better as previous X-Games didn't handle Universal trading very well or Supply/Demand the further away a Station got from one that had the stuff you needed.

This map does not display all zones. There is a blue zone a bit south west from TO.KO.13 (Terminal reflection).
The missing zone is "Broken Space", which, although not being shown on the map in the picture, is correctly listed on the image zone list.

Oh I must of used the wrong Map, didn't realise Broken Space isn't there.

I'll get to updating it.

Possibly intentional so feel free to disregard but a little feedback:

1. The layout of the HoL map is really neat. An issue though is that the symmetry of the HoL map and the related sector name labels makes it a little tricky to tell which label does which sector. Something I'll learn over time but maybe some arrows could help newcomers.

2. The following comment is based on the default 2D orientation of the in-game map (taking into consideration it's not possible to orientate the in-game map to the angles in the images until zones are found): The angled view of West Gate map makes it a little hard to realise where zone 10 is in-game. Once you get above zone 9, it looks like it should be off to the left a bit and very close to zone 9. Whereas in actuality, it's above and to the right, no closer than zone 8. All other system maps are smashing :)

I got stuck with the quest at second map phase. Is it worth a game restart?
Or its just some cash reward?
Might something happen afterwards that needs beta test?

Yeah, it's possible I did them at a slight curve, I will get around to redoing the HoL map again.

Having Trouble trying make Home of Light's West Gate Sector, it's Xenon Sectors are way away from the other Sectors ruled by Terracorp so shrinking it makes it obscure.

Will Try to increase the size of the image canvas in general, see if that Helps?
