Has a mod added Bio Hazard warnings to sectors ?

Hi,

Every now and then, I get a 'Bio Hazard' warning at the bottom of my screen in red and blue. radioactive waste has been detected in sector <xxx>.

Normally it's a xenon sector so I ignored it.

but not it's hit my home sector, Blue Horizon which is a claimed sector from Shady Business ? mission line.

So now, my PHQ, complex and strong arg HQ is losing hull. navigational beacons are also showing up in my sector randomly. This all started when a Xenon K plus flotilla entered my zone.

ANYONE have any idea if this is part of the standard game or a mod ? I've not seen this before and googling it turns up nothing !

Those hazardous areas and warnings are not part of the Vanilla game. If you list the scripts/mods you have installed, someone might be able to tell you which one is causing them.

The german files are essentially libraries and packages to implement : jump beacons, military transports, MEFOS combat system and specialised personnel (like helmsman, navigators, gunners that all help improve a ships stats).

None of these really seem likely for the Bio Hazard events !!

I was hoping there was a way of search all the scripts for the warning text to locate the actual script so I can look at the code and determine what it's 'part of'.

Script editor unravels the code, but scripts aren't searchable and in the install directory they're not plaintext.

Is there a tool I can use to decode the scripts ?

i think you should focus on the t-files which usually contain all Text the Scripts use - just search for continonous non-dyamic parts of the message like "bio-hazard" and you should quickly find it
if not stated otherwise everything i post is licensed under WTFPL

Ich mache keine S&M-Auftragsarbeiten, aber wenn es fragen gibt wie man etwas umsetzen kann helfe ich gerne weiter ;)

I wont do Script&Mod Request work, but if there are questions how to do something i will GLaDly help ;)

Hi,

Okay, found the t-file, 8841-L044.xml

It's the gate construction package.

I'll remove that one, since I haven't used it yet .. and it's slowly destroying my stations :)
