Hello, I am now playing with the beta 3.0 and continuing my game started with 2.5. you must start again from 0 when coming out the official 3.0 or can I continue the campaign?

The live patch releases are always compatible with earlier saves, but the beta might not be. I think they usually have been, but there's no guarantee you'll be able to play the live release on a beta save.

Egosoft's** official policy is to maintain compatibility with savegames from previous versions, unless explicitly stated otherwise. My guess is that this patch will be no different.

While technically true, as it is a beta, there is the very real possibility that it won't until the full release.

They will absolutely make sure on full release that it is compatable though.

That said, i've been playing the 3.0 betas with no problem so far.
