Hi, I have just bought a used copy of x2 the threat from
My local used game store, I have installed it and got to the step where it
Asks me to restart my pc. I restart it and try to launch it but it
Just asks me to restart it again. Any help would be appreciated
Here are my pc specs if that helps.

I would first totally uninstall the game and manually remove all associated X2 game folders.
Then you must reinstall the game from disk and then *immediately* patch the game to latest version using all the patch steps listed in ascending sequence (with no gaps) before you try to launch the game - otherwise old (StarForce?) DRM drivers kick in that will not run with Win7. Patching to latest version before running ensures the old XP DRM is not loaded or run.
Since you have already tried to run the base game, you might have to run the StarForce removal tool (Google it) to remove the old DRM drivers entirely.
