XRebirth has encountered a serious error 5.

I'm not sure what is causing this issue, every time I run the game i get X-Rebirth has encountered a serious error 5. I haven't even been able to launch the game once on stream yet.
I downloaded the game / re-installed it that didn't work.
Next I found to go to Playback devices then set it to 48000 hrz of my sound card. That didn't work either.

I'm stuck at this point.

I have a Intel Core i5, with 24 gigs of ram and 1.7 gigs on my graphics card which is Intel Graphics 4000. I'm not sure what to do at this point as i kepe getting this error every-time i enter the game.
Any help would be appreciated!

Try verifying the Steam gamefile cache for Rebirth.

If that does not work then post the full system information asked for here and we will see what else to try.

However, I have serious doubts that an Intel 4000 graphics integration will run Rebirth properly. You really need a separate and good dedicated graphics card from such as Nvidia or AMD/ATI. System Requirements.
