BBS Khaak Info - POSSIBLE SPOILER

Just finished the mission in which (you know who) flies in to the Khaak laser and saves the planet. I have now noticed that on BBS that people are offering me Khaak weapon info and sector info - do I need this stuff? Is it worth getting

Instead of "Unknown Ship" you'll now get "Khaak Fighter" or "Khaak Scout" + information. Quite useful, I'd say
