2.0R: Possible issue with asteriod station model in Last Stand

Station: AG Core Dig
Location: OL/CC/Last Stand
Issue: Hostile fighters fly around under asteroid surface like flys at a window.
Scenario: Fighters were spawned for an A.S.S. (...) station defense mission.

Health warning: Modded game although perhaps not changing related graphics or AI*. If someone in a less-molded game sees this too, please reply.

Detail: Secret Service mission (perhaps modified by Butter mod(s)) spawned multiple hostile fighters close to the asteroid station, which attack the station. Some fighters are inside the station. It makes completing the mission tricky and friendly capitals trying to help then hit the station with projectiles that cannot reach fighters inside.

Partial work-around: The Skunk's Inertial Hammer can often damage fighters close to the surface that are aimed at.

Unknown: Since the fighters are spawned before I undock from the Recharge station offering the mission, I don't know if the fighters spawn inside the station model or fly inside after spawning. Perhaps ButterMissions adds additional fighters and those spawn inside? No idea.
