I am L3 TC/AP
Running W7 x64bit
Library on Steam comes up as normal for AP.
No reference to Beta

Is this ,although running Windows, showing a Linux version by any chance ?

Shows normally on Linux as well. No beta references.

@ RoverTX: I can only assume that you signed up to X3AP Beta-testing at some stage in the past rather like this extract from the X3AP L3+ beta-testing forum ...
To enable the betas:

In Steam right-click Albion Prelude, then select Properties -> Betas.
Unlock the beta by entering the password ...

So what happens if you deselect X3AP Betas in favour of the normal version download (and verify the X3AP gamefiles cache if necessary)?

Doesn't show anything about turning off the beta. And besides I have reverified files a number of times sense ending the beta, deleted modified scripts and reverified to get the original ones.

I will try on my Laptop next time I have my desktop off and can log into steam on this machine.

You will need to disable the Beta download first (just reverse whatever you did to enable them and get back to the public version?) else the verify will just verify the beta files are present. I am unsure if any of this is even necessary as I think the beta and public versions are all the same files since X3AP development has probably stopped for now.
