[Mod] Increased Drohne Range

Here is my little learning project on XML patching.

It extends the range of the drones to 70Km.

It sounds like a lot but in my opinion it is the minimum range to scan the stations from outside their radar range (scanner range 50km + 20km station diameter)


How to install:

Just extract into your „extensions“ folder. If a folder with such name does not already exist create the folder first.

Sorry I don't get the "usefulness" of this mod... can someone explain me?

I thought it to be too small myself. You end up getting shot too easily during the plot missions while using the drones IMO.

I like this mod.

More realistic as to where I think technology would be in the lore. They have instant communications across the galaxy but yet, you cant control a drone at more than 20km??
