Edit killerog: Please don't put silly sized images in [img] tags, they just break everything and cant be seen by almost everyone in existence.

Could you make a set with more "subtle" changes? Most guys overdo it with SweetFX and i think some of your vibrances are too high, too much color correction.

AFAIK it's the bloom as I decreased vibrance :lol: you could try the darker version - if that still doesn't fit your taste I do one without gaussian blur/bloom and only the small vibrance adjustments and SMAA. :wink:

Nice work, would be VERY interested in seeing what you've been looking at and pulling from the shaders as I've been tempted to look at this also, since I'm about to go on holiday for a month!

Ironically I've not actually bought it yet but I've seen the opening sequence on Scoobs installation and what was immediately apparent (IMO!) was far too much flat light and not enough indirect lighting. Environment mapping seemed to be badly lacking as well (or maybe I just missed it in the two minute demo I got). I suspect the latter will be addressed by ES. I was going to PM Observe as he did alot of work on Shader tinkering for X3 which was translatable to TC and AP.

If I had my way I would get as near to ray tracing as my three WC 680s would let me :)

Why do game developers feel the need to overly saturate games with too much ambient lighting.

I like enhanced the most, the rest are blury/too vibrant/too sharp.

I'm having CTD when using the F12 switch with the second version of the FX and since the 1.16 patch. had not with previous version (and 1.15 patch) Just to say, in the patch they report to have adressed something regarding use of shaders.

Look under images, you can find some example screens of all presents there. The first ones without name are Enhanced - all others are named. Newest ones are at the bottom.

PS: I am doing some experiments with the newest shaders aviable and see what presents will soon rise :D

The GEM Enhancement looked better, took away the gray highlight to everything and made it more black space and true colour.

Dogy, are you okay with me posting my own "SweetFX light" version with the "more subtle changes" i prefer? Since my own SweetFX version, i used to apply on other games, wouldn't work on X:R, so i used your version and edited the luma sharp and vibrance.

What is meant by "DISABLE INGAME AA OR SWEETFX WON'T WORK!!!". Didn´t find ingame AA. Is it the shader or what ?

Hi Saheike,

he means the antaliasing in the Game-Graphic Settings.
Turn it to 0 so it's disabled.

You don't have to disable it to make SweetFX work. Just the SMAA enabled with SweetFX is dependent on disabled ingame antialiasing.
