Crash - With Dump - Crashes on fade in to scene - Savegame issue

Post by Jack08 » Sat, 16. Nov 13, 08:07

Hi all.
My game is constantly crashing after loading, it gets to aproximately 30% fade-in, locks up, unlocks, sitters untill about 40%, then minidumps.

What i have tried:
Verified Game Cache (No Errors Found)
4 Different driver versions (12.11beta11, 13.11beta7, 13.9 & 13.4)
All types of different sound configurations
Minimal, Medium, High and Default Graphics Settings, Windowed Mode & Not.

Observations:
The Savegame is 60mb - 3x bigger then one made only a few hours prior.
I can start a new game, and i can load my save 2 hours prior, are save games corrupting themselves?

Relevant Files:
DxDiag
quicksave.7z

XU_2013_11_16_14_50_24.dmp

edit:
there are a few hundred thousand lines of

Code: Select all

<targetpoint refobject="[0x115f]" behavior="0" direction="0" forcerotation="0" avoidcollisions="1" resetroll="1" relativemovement="0" usenavmesh="0">
<offset>
<position z="1"/>
</offset>
</targetpoint>
in the save game!

Removing all duplicate entry's from the save game stabilized the game and has allowed me to continue playing. This however is a temporary solution as the savegame simply starts building these entrys up again.

I've had to load saves quite a few times now, and in every case i've had to clean the save game before the game would load, i have noticed however, that if i leave it too long before saving, the game will just crash rather then save.
