Will Egosoft be attending E3 this year?

Will Egosoft be attending E3 this year?

Hi, decided to come out of my shell to ask my first question on these forums. The title pretty much sums up my question, which i felt needed to be asked.
I tried searching both the forums and E3's homepage for an Egosoft entry and it didnt show anything.

However i saw Deep Silver had reserved a slot on E3 2013, so that made me a bit unsure.

So just to ask again. Will Egosoft be presenting Rebirth this year? Or anything else you might be working on?

I will be glued to the screen this E3 watching livestreams from the 11th to the 13th of june and it would be nice to know if i should be looking for anything related to Egosoft. :)

Don't count on it, Deep Silver publishes alot of games. Them having a slot at E3 doesn't mean a thing for Egosoft

probably be for a dead island expansion, or Risen 5.7 lol
I used to list PC parts here, but "the best" will suffice!

Well, if the game is intended to be released in 2013 then I imagine seen as though this and is it GDC? Are the two big conferences coming up this year.

Gamescom, 3rd week in August is the most likely appearance , but by no means certain.

E3 would be fantastic, but unlikely IMHO.

Yeah. E3 is more about world-wide AAA announcements. Gamescom is more generic consumer expo and specializes more on showing stuff already done.

Come to think of it, I do actually hope they will be at Gamescom rather than E3, as i will be attending GC this year. So that would be absolutely fantastic. :)

It would be good if they did show it at e3, but im afraid that x rebirth is no where near complete as from what i read it sounds like x rebirth is still in alpha :(

E3 is for 3 things (huh, just understood the name). 1 Announcing a new game that looks really awesome and you wont hear of again for years. 2 AAA publishers to push out their yearly franchise slosh. 3 For the console guys to show their latest gadget (or in this case console) and demonstrate how much better it is at rendering the exact same AAA slosh.

You're asking the wrong people. We're just clueless gamers like you. :wink:

And Egosoft doesn't generally follow or respond to most threads on the forums. So good luck getting any kind of official answer. BTW, it wouldn't be Egosoft anyway. Deepsilver is the publisher of the game, so it would be their booths, although there would likely be a representative of Egosoft there if the game does show.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

X4 is a journey, not a destination. Have fun on your travels.

Deep Silver appears to not seem to care about X rebirth it seems. Everything I've heard from them in regard to this screams "disinterested". They have much bigger games they care about, it's like they forgot this was one of their projects or something.

Though I'm not disputing too much; if they were uninterested, would they be funding ES?

Or they are showing a youtube presentation of the making off videos and the reveal trailer.

Considering Egosoft representatives just said they have no idea what the Tri Syn people are showing, it would be safe to assume that Tri has no working anything from Egosoft.
