I hope that this japanese language version is also give to existing user.
if it is made, perhaps New patch (contain japanese support) come to X3TC and X3AP.

btw, this is first release of X-Universe Game in japan.

that would probably depend on the number of japanese players, and lets face it the number probably wont be too big (german/english forums are the "main" ones anyway)

Yeah... Egosoft would have to mod in some schoolgirls with pigtails and white panties. An entire race [url=Hatsune Miku]Hatsune Mikus[url] in X3 would flood the board with new members, overnight.

Which, wouldn't be a bad thing, really. The Hitsune Miku race, that is.

I do hope to see great success for a Japanese release. That'll widen up the community very nicely and just think of all the mods that might get released!

Japanese publisher says

X3 japanese language ver will not distribute to existing users.
and if you already have existing X3. you can't play x3 japanese language ver.
(you must create another steam account)

This is the worst treatment for existing users!
many Japanese Sci-Fi PC game fans already have X3!
(4 years have passed since the release of the X3TC...)

Probably no.
or users need spend a lot of time and effort to it.
(steam support is very slow in many cases)

if even delete registration of existing x3. will not be refund the english version X3 key. Probably they lost.
Therefore. user buying X3 japanese ver will lost their old english key ($39.99).

it included some different subset.
therefore, existing user will not be able to register the Japanese version.

At this state, we will be forced the maximum inconvenience.
I do not know what kind of contract between you and the Japanese publishers.
however, sometimes they think worst response are good.
It often leads to a great antipathy to users in Japan.
but they not going to change anything without the external pressure... forever!
(They don't try attempt to change the specifications of the game, even if it is outdated ! [Price, distribution method... everything! ] )
This is for the core PC game leads to a fatal situation.
many potential users already would buy X3TC in this four years.

Situation has been resolved

zoo, the japanese publisher.
seem to they remove that limitation.
I was able to use it in the steam without make new account. The other day.
however, they don't comment that changes...
(about limitation, it said that from their support desk in first ...)

Anyway, no longer needed make another steam account.
I pray that the game of the X-universe to succeed in Japan
