[TC & AP] background (stars and such) disappearing - Fixed by graphics driver update.

i've recently upgraded to a better computer and was super exited to play this game with max settings but have came across a problem...

while navigating menus while flying the background disappears. it will disappear every time the menu page is switched (going from side bar to selecting info/map/etc.) also it disappears randomly while flying (happens more with seta)

by background disappearing i mean the background picture of stars goes to black.. it comes back after anywhere from 1-2 seconds... not gamebreaking and i guess i could ignore it but before i had to settle i wanted to see if yall might be able to help....

my video driver shows up to date when i try to update it

I guess, you're using the Windows update function? Unfortunately this is not very accurate. Instead go directly to the nvidia website to get a newer driver.
Same applies to your sound driver. It's just a standard Microsoft driver that is currently installed on your system. Try to find out, what soundchip your mainboard has and visit the manufacturer's website to get a specific driver for it.

that was odd... i was actually using the check my drivers from my nvidia control panel not through windows... went to the website and am getting the update... just kinda odd that its own program couldnt tell i needed an update /shrug

would my sound card driver have anything to do with the background disappearing? (i know its good policy to update them but just trying to work on one problem atm :P )

i will install the driver update and post back with results <crosses fingers>
