harada they have already stated that the albion is a corvette class, as no details haven't been released about exactly what we can do with it, ie what upgrades and how many

also from last years gamescom video with pictures of drones and i think screenshots here and the preview video, those 2 drones following the albion don't look that small.

It's a live forum. This is an interesting discussion.
"Split happens".

(BTW not to missinterpret things, I am legal owner of whole series - actually a couple of X's I "doubly" own as I gave them as gift to a friend)

Unfortunately, many people don't end up buying the game =( And again, games aren't (and shouldn't be) "try before you buy". Really, it's dishonest to play a game when it's just been released, intending to buy it only when it's a lower price.

I will all most certainly be buying the game on release day I am just hoping that this tying the player to one ship doesn't destroy the experience for me.

I'll wait for it to hit bargain prices of $10 or less on steam.

I'm a little nervous when it comes to pre-ordering games nowadays but i trust in Egosoft's ability to make good games. So i will buy/pre-order as soon as i see the game on Steam.

I'll preorder it, I've been burned by just about every major studio, so I'm down to purchasing on faith only things that I know I can repair myself.

Pretty much this, also Egosoft has proven a few times they bring out a reasonably cool game and then invest time and money into making it an absolute must-have. I'll pre-order it, even if there's no real price advantage or added pre-order bonus stuff.

Then it must be said I pre-order most games I expect are going to be really cool, and although I've been disappointed a few times, it's never been the small labels that fail to meet expectations...

Since English is not my native language care to explain this? How you can "repair" if X:R comes out and proves to be cr*p?

I got something wrong?

@NLS, Hes basically saying he will only buy something that he can fix with his own hands. As he cant fix software, he wont buy it. ( i think )

Or maybe he will buy X, as he CAN fix it himselff, through mod's and whatever else.
