Split say: Fight with no software true test of skills
I pool my remaining resources and fake identity so Split military let me be cannon fodder, err, scout, I take many patrol missions but barely scrape enough together for my survival. Enough is enough but my ship is not powerful enough for raiding. I need better ship. Maybe Asp will do job. Need to get money...somehow.

I find mission mission for better payoff, 30,000cr to track boron m5. I followed from Rhonkars clouds to Void of Opportunity and get paid. On way back pirate m5 follow me. Also Boron. I won. Bad entertainment, good lunch.

It will take much work to be powerful again. The D'jrok, my Pather was a glorious ship before those scum lured my family into that ambush, I still wonder if any others made it out alive.
Plan is simple... Get big ships. Destroy the traitors.
Without my families funding I must become mercenary, pirate. Annoying Teladi at Trading Station tell me to play something called Stock Market...I wonder if it involves explosives. I know only how to kill.

Split say: Why buy when you can get for free?
I am sitting in large bar at rugged mining outpost in Nopoleos' Memorial drinking spacefuel and smoking fine spaceweed. I get tired of jobs paying next to nothing and decided that live or die I am going to go raiding with my Jaguar. I am glad I did because OTAS pilot no match for Split. My new Solano parked in the docking clamps. Now to get mass drivers...and pbe's...and money...should be easy now that I have ship that can actually kill stuff, it is not Split made, but I will suffer the stench. Oh and something to haul loot.
Stupid Argon had four Remote Guided Warheads but did not launch them and die with honor, coward. Instead he die painting my hull as I forget Jaguar cargo hold not big enough for slaves.

I capture Barracuda in Hatikvahs, pilot smell bad so no eat. This Boron was sold as slave. I also cap Dolphin but Pirate Elite kill before I could get it to Shipyard. Dolphin had 22 fighter drones. I grabbed 5 and left him with the rest.
Soon as I saw Elite come I give order to launch all drones, they kill elite as elite kills Dolphin, then they follow me to Thuruks beard where I engage Boron M6, 20 fighter drones attack it while I try to cap its escort M3's. It no like. It then chase me all the way to Eq Dock. My hull 46% due to arrogance. Never make that mistake again. I think I eat Dolphin pilot, he smell like Chelts meat.
Rebuilding will take much time.

Boron take offence to blasting traders and avoiding Hydras. Boron send Kraken to Hatikvahs, I had to jump away twice. Once when flail barrage was within meters. I get revenge on the squids later. Maybe for now I migrate to Farnham's Legend, it closer to sushi buffet homeworld anyway.

I had little luck pirating since last log entry, 220,000cr for some missiles, but I find angry argon in Bala Gi's joy and take Assassination mission against Terran pilot. Lots of shields, no skills. He die easy. He no eject, shame, I wonder how taste. More important assassination mission make me 1.6 million credits. I had enough to buy Asp and Turbo booster mk1. I outfit it now with leftover credits and use Solano as wingman, or to protect my Boa, I tired of OTAS ship. I crave Split engineering.

I think I look for transporter device, essential for loot storing and moving around on my meager fleet...of which I am the only sentient being, maybe I find old allies to raid with me? Maybe not...we see.

I blast Boron M6 in Thuruks Beard, It escort Angel, and Angel carry many delicious looking slaves. I keep close and orbit at full throttle keeping tight and on target, eventually my mass drivers continious fire destroy M6 hull, and M6 turrets no hit my fast maneuvering much. Angel pilot stupid, he didn't give up so I blast them too. If anything I feel better now after my last Hydra encounter.

Lots happened today, and today only begun...
Hatikvahs was invaded by large Boron fleet, Shark and two Thresher. I later see them again down by Third Redemption when doing missions, I avoid..for now...
I take patrol mission for paranid when I realize they sell Docking Computer. Xenon attacked in large force. I use many drones and wasps to fend off. I hack a disabled Xenon L, I think about selling, or maybe use as heavy drone....Hacked Xenon fleet would give those traitors something to think about.........
During patrol crazy Paranid want me to blast Pirate Galleon in Clarity's End. I see Galleon since I start quest for vengeance. It always has little less hull but always around. It now die to Paranid Ares that also was sent to Patrol. It's Captain went down with honor.
On way back to Perditions End to meet up with only jumpdrive capable ship I see Kraken and it launch flail at me.....
I have no jumpdrive, I have 6 mossies, so I decide to Bhreksha with it when Turbo boost fuel runs out and I turn around to meet destiny with honor....
....Only 5 flail come at me, I launch all mossies and fire all guns, all flails detonate in front of me. I immediately fly to nearby station and dock up...... manually............ I need joint, and whiskey.....and sushi.............

I think I accidentally capture pirate boron, I let go at pirate base. I sell everything but Caiman, it good Split Engineering, good loot hauler...once it get jumpdrive, and I get transporter device.........
I put SEWN to work looking out for red capitals and fighters in all sectors around Hatikvahs. Now that I have eyes around me no one is marked as enemy currently. Doing missions for Boron pirates have yeilded interesting contact. He/She/Lar/It hack into Boron reputation network and give rep along with regular payment for assassination and transport missions. This good because Kraken back, and I have no bomber yet.
Maybe I keep next M3 I capture for new heavy drone instead of sell. Having Xenon L to blast things for me and guard my TM was strategically advantageous.

Thanks mate. I'm enjoying this game so far. Tons of close calls though...Drone swarms and lots of missiles are the only thing keeping me alive.
