In Previous X3 games, ship handing/camera is too hard/fixed. It doesn't feel good.
Is there any improvements on Rebirth?
Thanks

I have asked this before, but got no definite answer.
I was hoping for a better handling of third person view. I really like flying and seeing my space ship. Perhaps with the VR goggles while flying drones...

I would also like to know how third person will be in XR. Especially in terms of drones, when half the game is a simulator in a simulator, it should be more realsitic to switch between 3rd and 1st person view.

Did you ever see yourself when walking or your car while driving in 3rd person view? it's hardly realistic

EDIT: ohhhh nvm i didnt get the simulator in a simulator thing. You got a point there. Inception much?

I just hope the first person view is staggeringly impressive, especially considering we are only getting 1 ship to fly

I always thought a great idea for an immersive way to give the player a third person view is to give them a tiny drone that hovers around the ship ( or whatever the game is) and physically moves around the ship to look at different things.

it might be cool to be able to purchase more advanced "view drones" (or a better name) or upgrade them and be able to destroy them. then the player would have t look out windows.

I guess the third person view could simply be justified as some sort of advanced real time radar/survey/watever system that captured the all the surroundings realistically and would present them to the pilot in some sort of virtual reality or hologram system.

Then go play EVE. Point and click control isn't really 'control'. YUCK! Razz

I personally don't like point and click "control" (if it can even be called control). I prefer Egosoft's style much more personally.
