Ok guys i THINK ive got it going again, ive spent the past few days playing with the harddrive, couldnt get it to work on my housemates computer, however after much screaming and 1 broken keyboard*dont worry it was junk anyway* i managed to copy the files over into a file hidden deep in my housemates computer* trial running the game to see if i corrupted or misplaced something, if all goes well, a chapter should be forthcoming

Chapter 15: On the move again.

Ok well, i think i've left har and nomm wondering what i intend to do with them long enough.
Time to break the news.
Nomm and har please report to messhall.

15 minutes later

" 'ey why you callin us 'ere boss?" is the first thing i hear from nomm.
"Ive decided on what you guys will soon be flying"
"Bout time boss, I've been waitin to tell you i'd like either a Dragon or that Mamba Vanguar'.
"Hmm, well it just so happens we are in split space, shall we purchase that Dragon for you?" Nomm replies with a grin on his face.
I swear i just saw Nomms jaw drop.
" 'ey i was only Jokin' Boss!"
" Well i wasnt, i actually have need of some backup firepower anyway, and Har, you will be flying the mamba, ill be outfitting either some scorpions or asps to act as drones to cover you"

Well this is going to hurt my bankroll. but everyone seems happy.

First i bought the dragon, which comes fully shielded, however the only weapons i managed to get it were ISR*ion shard railguns* and 2 PBE's of which i stuck one in the turret, its also got a jumpdrive so im going to be hopping it around trying to locate some HEPT's to fill in the rest of its banks, or CIG's. not sure really if thats the best loadout but we will see.
The mamba will be docked to Maggy and i've removed sharpshooter squad. im placed them at IZ shipyard to keep comms on the station for me.
I'm also moving scream and cry*kestrel* from maggy to my zeph, to stay docked till i need it, like my solano, which i dunno if ill ever fly again.
that way ill have an empty maggy to use as a base for Har's wing.

Im actually starting to hurt for money so i do a quick taxi that pays off my purchase of 2 cigs for the dragon.

So i take a taxi mission to get started, then i take one assasination, then load up Nomm's dragon with the cigs, currently it has:
2x ISR
2X PBE*one in turret*
2x CIG
Im planning to throw some hept in there, hopefully it can hit any target it wants with that loadup.

The last assasination i decide to take "Shard" with me, and it turns out it wasnt the best idea,
Nomm didnt manage to kill anything, he couldnt catch a falcon vanguard!?
I think its either the load out, or the pilot, either way somethings defective, ill try him out again, to see which it is.

Anyway its going to have to be a short day, Im tired, ill sort out either Nomm or his ship 2morrow.

Chapter 16: Build up.

You see, i intend to get Nomm fully set, and have har all set and equipped with his microwing.

So to get the ball rolling i take a semi cheap assasination, that takes me back to family pride where Nomm had been stationed since our last.. debacle... i honestly dont want to talk about that...

Anywayz, i called him out of the shipyard and let him loose with a hold full of wasps and a few silkworms.
I threw some more hepts and Cigs into his battery and removed the pbe in the main guns.
It didnt turn out so bad, but i think ive learned a lesson..
ONLY send him against M6's on his own, for any fighters i think im going to have Har and his drones cover him, that means they will hopefully look after eachother while i eliminate the targets.
They can babysit eachother. i have no time to play wetnurse.
Anyway, took a quick destroy convoy mission for the yaki. roughly 2mill payout. not bad not bad.
lost a rank with the split? nuts..
Then i jumped down to ceo's sprite, and got sweet FA, and no thats not a flak array.
jumped over to thuruks and found a very hard protect station mish. perrfeect
i set Nomm after an osprey and took out the accompanying centuar, osprey and 3 falcons, i left the light fighters to crash into the station.
Even then it took nomm till i had destroyed EVERYONE else to take out that osprey, i thinki actually had time to make popcorn.
Anyway, his loadout seems to work for now, im just worried about more.. turreted firepower on some M6's.
I need to go past each split shipyard to see who sells L variant Asps, i dont want the M varias as they just has 2 MD's, which are useless to me atm, and the S variants i'd have to go running around for shields and such, problem is the L variants go for 1.1mill EACH, thats not including repairing Har's mamba and kitting it out.

anyway as i was floating here i see a kha'ak cluster creeping about.

I transport to nomms ship, and personally order the launching of 2 typhoon missiles. which then break up into their 8 or so pieces, 30k per hit, heh, Goodnight buggy.

Well it turns out 2 scouts survived, only to get owned by my Poltergiests,
Good thing i brought my bugzapper mwuahaha!

Well i made roughly 2.8 million, from a bunch of return ship mish's and the family pride shipyard now has L variant Asps for sale! so i bought 2.
Fully kitted out with 4 hepts and one PBE a piece and a 25mj shield, i named them "Har-drone" 01-02
Now all i have to do is kit out Har's mamba and i should have a potent anti fighter wing, i hope...
Also i have renamed "Maggy" To "Har-O-Wing Base" heheh, harrowing.. hope that brings a smile to Nomm's face as well. i swear i was cackling madly for atleast half an hour.

Well im tired as hell again, things are taking more time to develop..

Chapter 16: Cash dash

Today i need to make some serious credits, im down to 100k with har-o-wing not yet ready, and i still havent started construction of the weed/booze plex.
So im going to hop around like a kangaroo on adrenaline, looking for assinations, taxi's, protect missions. anything that pays over 500k i will take.

after 2 small asassination missions that were 2 low pay for me to even mention, i finally snag the big one, 2.3 mill for a pirate guy, but first i gotta meet this guys contact

Unfortunatly a few problems arose.
First. i had 20 minutes to make 76 km's of distance, so i switch to nomm's dragon and jet over there, i was going to stay with him and jump to the target, but he didnt have enough jumpfuel..
*Gaaaaaah*
Race back to vidar, get in, jump to thuruks beard. spray MAM till target explodes and his buddies flee,
2.3 mill. annoying. but worth it then i find this boron in a buzzard offering money for me to waste a convoy.
70k? each? No. thats just pitiful, no wonder the split love picking on you guys. you dont even know how to pick a....

Well, now im annoyed, Nomm just challanged me to a bet, he bet i couldnt get into the khaak sector and retrieve that DSD*hence why i havent done it yet*
Well, full of zeal i jumped in, launched off all 50 of my poltergiests, picked up the DSD and as a bonus, 2 PALC's, never heard of em before, this should shut him up, heh...

apparently the Boss 'as finally decided ta git us flyin'... i was expectin that Mamba V thats been just sittin' in drydock... i was surprised when 'e said yes to my joke bout a Dragon.... now thats a frakin fine ship fer someone in our profession 'its hard 'its fast and can get the frak out of a mess if needed.... I'll name 'er 'Shard' she'll be a splinter in tha heart for anyone who fraks wit me... er the boss.....

first time out in 'Shard' didnt go well 'ad some problems wit the auto pilot kept sterrin me off course.... a few busted panels and some 'negotiations' wit tha computer mainframe and i should 'ave it sorted out...

wow that actually ended up longer then expected..... for the dragon loadout i usually use like 4 CiGs/ISRs and 4 Hepts (or 4 cig 2 isr 2 hetps but thats when im flying it) or if used OOS a full bank of CIGS/ISRs

New boss needs to work on grip strength. Boss other employee looks fun, marine? Both complain of Split “Space Fly Musk”, neither are looking for mate?

Nomm keeps making fun of split name, like joke. Argon sense of humor off. Still Boss give split Mamba to fly. Good fast ship with lots of firepower. Many Many targets will burn. Also providing two drone asps as backup and missile fodder, Boss cares for pilot?

Ok Split officially Bored, tried to set up target range in hold of Har’o’Wing, too small. Maybe suggest I pick up Jaguar for boss. While in sector practice zero g shooting. Or ask Nomm to spar?

Chapter 15: The light at the end of the tunnel....


Is most likely an explosion.. Dont trust it.

Anyway, that is a summary of the first hit of the day.

Being i jump into PTNI, and Blow the osprey to bits within 10 seconds of entering.
By the moment Nomm entered the sector all he woulda seen was the explosion as the ospreys reactor was breached.

I then get another asasination in SPG

jump in, blow the centaur to confetti. Nomms follows in and takes out an osprey all on his lonesome. Dunno what he did, but he's doing pretty well now.

Battle over, few M4/M5 left, seem to be running away.
Need more jumpfuel.. hmmm
Zeph, get over here. we need some more fuel! No not Spacefuel Nomm! havent you had enough?

Why meet up here?
For one, Im giving you your pay's early, we had made quite a bit, Also, Har, your ship is now equipped with 3 EBC, and 2 PAC currently, i will be looking for more PBE and maybe even PBG for you at the first oppertunity, for now your wing is fully operational and your main goal will be to cover and protect Nomm

Har replied with something in the split dialect, im not sure whether he was cursing me, or thanking me.. either way i'll leave it up to him.

As we were waiting*and drinking* We get an offer for another assasionation, up in ocean of fantasy, Shrugging me and Nomm jump in as per usual, and stop the target flat. then we get Another mission. for taking out a convoy..

3 hits. 3 targets down.

Ok well im in a much better mood now, so much as to want to start work on that Weed plex, time to jump to ceo's sprite to buy the neccesary stations!

Chapter 16: Got a Smoke

Why do i ask?
Cause im now producing my own, if you havent got some space weed, Come to Avarice*Unknown sector between montallar and New income*
I just bought and set up
my WEEDPLEX!

But ill get to that later

For now im taking a few last assasinations and other such missions to give me that extra little bit of cash to have a comfortable pillow of cash to lay on in times of need.

First was an assasination, 1.3 mill, Easy as pie, Typical routine stuff, then when i was buying the stations for my weedplex in Ceo's sprite i get a mission for protecting a station.
Unfortunatly Har-O-Wing wasnt here as i had to go equip the drones with software*which i forgot beforehand!*
so just me and "Shard" vs 3 m6's
I set shard to attack the lone osprey, while i tackle the other 2 and the assorted fighters..
And I think Nomm might have fallen asleep on me..

Chapter 17: Wheels moving?

Well, its been a few days, i'd left Nomm and har to spend their credits while we rest and recuperate, i still am transporting the stations for my weedplex from ceo's

sprite.

I decide that today is a pirating day, So i jump to hatikvahs faith and start to make my way"Slowely" across to Split fire.
I attacked mainly weapons dealers
and got over 500 wasps.
25 hornets
2 FBL
roughly 10 Pacs
and a mishmash of other assorted goodds.

Unfortunatly i really peeved off the boron and im now "confirmed adversary"

oh well

On a lighter note, later on we took a very hard protect station mission for the split.
So i Called back Har to try him out in a combat situation.

And "Har-O-Wing" went quite well, hars shield got down to 30% at one stage, and it was 3 of them vs 1 pirate nova with hepts, but in the end, he*unlike Nomm* Didnt

bring it back with any expensive scratchs

In all harrowing took out 3 novas all on their lonesome.

Not bad for a first shakedown run.

After that i had to jump me and har-o-wing base to a nearby split sector to buy ecells

And after this i decided i was sick of always having to go get my own cells.
So i purcased a Mistral SF and am in the process of upgrading it to be my fuelboat.

With a 10000 BASE cargo space without upgrades, its not a bad investment.

I hope that is..

Unfortunatly it completly flattened my money, at one stage i was into the tens of thousands instead of millions.

So off i go for a few assasination missions, also my message box is starting to get cluttered, the occasional marine is reporting in saying he needs more money to train.
So far only 1 marine is really at combat readiness

But ive got atleast 30 training up.

ALSO, my weedplex is up and running. well it WIll be. when my merc starts supplying it ecells. apparantly noone is willing to sell me some. at MAX PRICE!?

I hope i wont need a ship to sell the weed.

also, the poltergiest missile fab is no longer working. something bout a lack of C rations.

so my vidar has lost some of its anti fighter power.

My money is back up to roughly 3 million, and both "Shard" and "Har-O-Wing" are accompanying me on another piracy run, ive had to call in both my mistral and my

old vulture to pick up the loot.

Well over 500 wasps,
200 IRE's
20 1 MJ shields
5000 energy cells*needed*
10 or so PAC's

Seems Piracy is a good buisness

Unfortunatly ive severly annoyed the paranid and the boron*again*

oh and the pirates, yes every pirate wants my head to adorn their ships..

it is just me, or am i becoming universally hated?
