i was thinking of making your own PMC so you can make money faster

- Have Fleets gain reputation by completing missions/or failing them (have pirates be able to "buy" your services)
-Buy fleet commanders, and Pilots(Vessel Captains) for your M1's-M8's and have them control your fleets/Ships better and make their own decisions ((Tactics, etc) Pay them a salary
-Have your own Shipyard with our own types of ships
-Buy your own sector (Like X3TC)
-Have your own Intelligence Agency
-Planetary management/Sector Management (Taxes tariff's, Planet side buildings, Etc...
-Have a better Game Economy

give me more time and i will find or make some more ideas

*Edit
- Land battles, battled out in Sectors on the planets surface (Dawn of war 2 style)
- Instigate Proxy wars (Put more "Sub-Races" in)
- Assassinate High ranking official's to further your goals along
- Assassinate High ranking Official's and put in a "Puppet" Leader

- add "collect wares in sector" to all ships (i mean i will get them manually anyways so why not)
- m1 and some m2 able of docking 1 ts (if the ts has empty cargospace, not counting own shields and weapons), make it count 2 docking ports?!
- add blueprints for weapons and upgrades.
- phq builds ships faster and/or dont use microships, etc. but add the price of the microships, etc to the price you pay. Instead of paying (example) 10000 + 50 microship, pay 20000.
- player equipment docks can be upgraded to actually upgrade ships. et, ro, cs and maybe even software can be added to your eq if race rep is high enought and paying a fee.

the UI also really need a revamp.

there's only 2 active tracking windows avail, not enough
in my usage, left is for 1 of my own ship i always want/need to provide lot manual order
right is typically my active target window

i like to have extra some tracking window to my other important/need-to-monitor ship
instead of everything need to bring up my property list, and scroll to locate the target

probably another dynamic window, anything a new message about my ship being attacked, it will show it's health in a easy to spot and take less space slot. maybe just show about 3-5 seconds, than auto dissapear

the property list also not very convenient to use, i hate the need to keep scrolling

I hope the modders are listening..they're our only hope of seeing some of this stuff. I'm not much of a merchant myself, so many of these things aren't for me, but making money faster...seriously?? I can buy any ship I want just gathering weapons that drop after battles...I even have a Terran bomber I use just as a salvage ship (salvaged that too), and since my faction is neutral to everyone, I gather during battles as well...occasionally I'm in the wrong place at the wrong time, and some splatter from a big ship hits me, but I only died once from it...lol. Rolling Eyes

here here.... definatly, ive came up with this idea in the past, i suggested adding some sort of "matrix" we could in a way pull sectors created through the UFJD into the matrix... i thought by using something like a special JB or something, when placed the sector would take up position in the 1st slot of the matrix that way when you jump out of the sector it doesn't get wiped out... and have something like hephestus have the ability to build you orbital accelerators... and a single pair of gates. accelerators could take you around the "matrix" of sectors you have pulled into the universe, and you use your single gate pairing to connect your cluster (player owned sectors) to the rest of the universe at pretty much any position you want (for me the unknown sector next to legends home)

thing is if this was to happen, id be kinda wanting my own shipyards... and ability to upgrade my own ships, that way i could become totally self sufficient via my own cluster of sectors... defend your area and you really could potentially have a galactic war and go for domination...
