im non terran, updated the game but nothing happens.
How do i start the hq and hub plots?

You need to finish the main plot first.

For PHQ you need Teladi rep Majority Shareholder, dunno about other requirements.

Hub plot start in my games was at atreus hq queens gaurd rep required and i believe the hq plot starts in ptni with teladi majority shareholder rank and of course as its a teladi plot i suspect a large amount of credits

You can turn off your war messages now in the Gameplay options.

try restart and end your main plot via mission director

Thanks, that's it - i got the mission manually at Atreuses HQ. There was no inviting message, despite what that boron says.

And where we get other 2 side missions, PTNI HQ?

yeah ptni headquarters, i had to go dock there without any instruction to get mine to start. Been looking for the Hub trigger so thanks guys.

The plots are started with messages asking you to arrive at HQs, you don't need to dock there without an invitation.

Actually, and I have heard this from many people, some do not receive the message for the hub plot (like me) even if they have the requirements.

For those of you with this problem, jump or fly to sector: Queens Harbour.
Bottom right of the Uni map. You should get it then.

Some people get it regardless, or when they enter any boron sector.

Edit: Im pretty sure now it is to do with whether or not you have discovered that sector already, as i had not, until i scoped out all boron sectors for this trigger. So Id stick that down as a requirement for this Plot.

I did incresse my notierity via cheat package with teladi and still nothing.

Do i have to restart the game or what???

If there are mods about, can we get a sticky of the requirements for these?

Ive posted This exact question (the OP's) a few times and it seems people will have to keep asking, as there has been no Full explanation.

I have them now, and even though i had all the requirements to start with, i needed to at least fly to the relative sectors for it to trigger.

Can someone Expand on this? or Confirm/deny?

I am fairly certain that the PHQ/UFJD plot requires you to have a minimum Trade Rank (I was Magnate when I got it so no clue what rank you would need). It is implied within the plot and it's also logical.

I was told to realign the Gates to Segaris, on the grounds that it was dangerous, and then to wait for further instructions. I've been waiting for quite a while now. I'm Knight of the Kingdom, so it's not a rep lock.

Has the gate cooled down yet?

There should be a cooldown time. Have a look at the window you get
when you try to realign the gate.

OTOH if you've got to the point that you've been told there is no "immediate" use for it
and to use the hub as you like in the meantime then that's probably it.

I am walking through borons plot, but teladi plot is still unactive (teladi rep 8 "venture profiteer"). It seems there are some additional req-s, got trade rank 24 "capitalist", fight rank 19 "militant", which is not enough?

I have less trade rank but IIRC next fight rank (Warrior). I assume you have discovered PTNI HQ sector so no idea.

hmm, i did the Poisoned Paranid start. The Hub mails came right after loading into 2.0. so argon start didnt seem to be a req, but my boron rank indeed was maxed.

no luck tho with the UFJD or PHQ on the other hand.
my Teladi rep is also maxed, so is my Terran rep (i just want their ships)
My fight rank is assassin and trade capitalist. i tried lowering (a lot) my terran rep, still no luck. docked at the NMMC hq and nothing happened. i even bought NMMC shares, damnit...

how do i get this bugger to start? why cant any dev or mod tell us clearly what to do?
its a pain to find out yourself in this game if you never know, is its just bugged...

Let's just clear one thing up right now. The Argon start is not a requirement for the Hub or PHQ. Completion of the main plot is a requirement, which is why Terran players do not have access to them. If you can do the main plot you can access the PHQ/Hub.

I am betting that Mogul is the Trade rank that is required, the next one after Capitalist, because the plot says something along the lines of "a mogul such as yourself... ".
