Split Names

Hi peoples!

I am trying to write some prose loosely based on the x-universe and would like some help generating some of the races names.

The Argon names aren't too bad - just a random mix of pseudo-japanese and galactic standard - but I have no imagination when it comes to alien names.

However, I do recall there was an excel program/tool/applet that was meant to be quite good at randomizing names reading info from the game itself. If anyone still has this or even knows what the frack I am talking about, please point me in the right direction?


I have seen the view count increase but no suggestions for split names....even if no one knows anything about the excel program, I would still like some help in coming up with split sounding names....

There is a devnet page about how to come up with the alien names.

How many names would you need?

Why not go to a merc station in Split or pirate space? Or scan passenger transports in Split space? You'll have as many names as you want.
