(TC) Have the Mineral Scan missions been removed

Guys

Having read The Wonton Use of Nukes and looking to follow a similar path to glory I have been surprised to not find a single mineral scan mission. Have they been removed, or do they only appear at later stages. I have been playing the game for at least 24 hours now.

they appear when the random mission generator tells them to.
Just saying it forward: I give everyone 2 posts to make good, in context posts(proper english, as always, is optional). After that I'm ignoring what you have to say in that thread that's directed to what we previously were talking about.

The likelihood that certain missions will appear is inversely proportional to how badly you want them to appear.

I also notice that the more roids you've already scanned, the fewer missions I seem to find spawned.
