This script will make yr target vanish from current location and re-appear into the sector that has the Xenon Hub located (Unknown Sector without any gates). This sector will be more and more defended by Xenon forces with each use of the hotkey (meaning if Xenon forces havent been dealt with after first use of script it will double with second use of script and tripple with third use of script). The Xenon forces are rather powerfull so i suggest to get there in something either fast and powerfull .. or something really powerfull or use the optional mod which will give you more space to manouver. After a certain amount of time the Xenon Hub will transfer ownership to player. There is also a particular Xenon ship roaming about in Xenon Hub space that looks a bit out of place, it has some valuable bonuscargo...

With this version 2.0 the Hub Plot will be re-introduced with only low Boron race reputation (+1). I deleted the checks time played and trading rank so it will be much more easy to start the Hub Plot. Also once its started and you are adviced to go to Xenon Core-Sector 023 the first gate set will be activated already. It will link the Hub sector with two Xenon sectors.

From here i suggest you try the hotkey for Hub Space Jump so you
can battle for control over the Xenon Hub and get the bonusmaterial.
Once thats secured you can then continue with the Hub Plot so you can get control over the gate allignment system. This will be a long phase so
the bonus should come in handy. Also with the two xenon sectors connected it wont be boring there.

This is how the hotkey works :

From the Playership you can target a ship and press the hotkey to make that ship relocate to Hub space. If you want playership to actually get into Xenon Hub space (which is basicly why i created this script) thats entirely possible too, you will just have to think it through (several ways)

hint 1 : docking computer
hint 2 : eject

Now if you happen to have stumbled upon a jump beacon somewhere, somehow i would say this sector would be a good place to place it untill the gates are up and running.

Have fun with this script.

Just extract the scripts folder (containing two scripts) and the 03 cat & dat files into the X3 AP addon folder. If you already have cat & dat file 03 then check what yr highest number is and rename +01

Bind a key to hotkey ''Hub Space Jump'' in controls - interface

To trigger the Hub Plot with this mod :

- have at least +1 race relation with Boron
- go into Boron space through a gate, wait at that gate a few minutes.
- an Boron enhanced dolphin will pop up near gate with mission icon on it
- it will either contact you or you can communicate with it to start Hub Plot.
- as soon as Hub Plot starts the gate set 1 will be activated, with two working Xenon Hub gates .. connecting two xenon sectors to Hub space.

Now you can start the Xenon Hub Space Jump script, fight the xenon forces and in the end get ownership of Xenon Hub and maybe even get the bonus material.

note : for users starting a new game and then using this script right away there is a chance the first gateset wont activate in Hub sector and you wont get directed into Hub sector through orginal Hub plot. Pls follow the following workaround then :

Start new game, use cycrows cheatpackage to know all sectors (including unknown sectorsa), add an advanced satelite to unknown sector next to Argon M148 (the Hub Sector), enter a Boron sector, get plot activated, check unknown sector to see if two hubgates are now linked to xenon sectors. destroy satelite with cheatpackage. jump to start sector,
set all sectors back to unknown with cheatpackage. Thats it.

thanks for testing it. With this script / mod you have two ways to get and use the Xenon Hub :

1 - starting the plot and switch to the hotkey of my script Xenon Hub Space Jump. This will involve a lot of fighting xenons, from small to big ships ! You will also have to figure out how to get there yrself and there will be real nice bonus in the form of a ship that has special cargo.

2 - starting the plot and following it through. This will envolve more resource gathering but will get you to Hub space as well. The gate set 1 will be activated from start .. this is different from orginal Hub Plot that in the end give you gate set 1 active.

EDIT : on second thought you could in theory combine both, first start and complete the hub plot.. then use my script for some excitement and bonus.

added two optionals for this mod / script on first post, one for normal X3 AP users and one for X3 AP users that also use IE+IEX.

If used it will make the Hub sector like any other sector (the walls that restricts the player will disappear) and you can actually use the Hub sector now to build or place complexes.

EDIT : i edited also the first post when i found out the only way to allign the hub gates is through the Hub Plot.

Only the starting conditions for the Hub Plot (now it will only check for +1 reputation with Boron to offer it to player) and how early on it links the Hub Sector with the two Xenon sectors. The Hub plot itself is untouched.
The hotkey and its script and the two optionals (see first post) are something i wrote myself.

EDIT : i think i also changed two shiptypes (the enhanced dolphin offering the mission and the shipwreck in Hub space) because their X3 TC shiptypes dont exist in X3 AP. The shipwreck does not seem to be there but that doesnt hinder the plot.

ok , well I did test your first script befor 2.0 but I only got to trying it a thew hours befor I found 2.0 , so this is what I think of it

Idea is good , at first I did think ``oh...jumping there kill a thew Ls and Ms... but no ! oh no ! there where M2s lots of the OWP ! and a tone of fighters !``its a real a EPIC idea and for thos who want to have the hub by fighting and not trading your script is good.

pros :
EPIC FIGHTS !
alternativ to clasic plot
cons :
well it was a bug on my pc...
so in total 10/10 ! good script , and well an extra point becos its MD and MD is hard , so 11/10 ! Smile

for the real TC plot :
well its a port , and well a good one to , It works no bugs so far and im not going to review the plot as its the old Tc one , but your work is good
so 10/10 good port Thumb up Thumb up

in global , all EPIC UBER good work.

90% of ships are xenon .. there are two OWP's to spice things up.

edit : a Xenon Titan? that does sound weird. It shouldnt be creating that,
i will look into it.

EDIT : it was a bug , it must have been a wierd file or ....my memorie Embarassed
well going to have to edit my review , cant right things that arnt true about a script....
sorry for my error , it is a real UBER EPIC script , I love the combat in X games , and you added a new way to do the HUB plots , congratulation
EDIT: just been back again , no there is no argon ships....there is however a xenon mobile pirate base....? and I can confirme that one .
